The night was finally calmed down. Zaylin was fussy and Milan became frustrated. I ran her a warm bath to relax. While she was in the bath, I bathed him, fed him, and rocked him to sleep. I cut on his baby monitor and left out. I went to our room, turned on ours so we could see and hear him. Milan finally walked out of the bathroom with her robe on.

"You alright now??" I asked standing in front of her as she sat at the edge of the bed

"Yes. Thank you..." she said wrapping her arm around my waist with her head lying on my stomach

"Of course baby. I know sometimes it's frustrating but you're doing amazing. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, it's part of parenting..." I said rubbing her back

"I love you so much..." she said looking up at me

"I love you too baby..." I said bending down to kiss her

"I'm bout to hop in the shower, find something for us to watch..." I said and she nodded

I turned the shower on, stripped, and got in. I was in there for like 35 minutes letting the water run on me and bathing. I got out and wrapped a towel around myself. I walked out and saw her walking back into the room with a bowl of strawberries and cream cheese. I looked at her for a moment.

"What??" She asked

"Nothing..." I said going into my drawer

I pulled out some boxers and a wife beater. I air dried for a bit before sliding on my clothes. I got in bed and Milan put one of the strawberries with cream cheese up to my lip.

"I'm good..." I said shaking my head

"Try it, it's good..." she said

"I'm good baby, go ahead..." I said

She was quietly eating for a bit. She put the bowl on her nightstand before sitting up. She crisscrossed her legs while facing me.

"I gotta tell you something..." she said

"What!? You pregnant..." I said jokingly while laughing

She stayed quiet making me look at her. She was still looking up at me.

"Wait I was joking cuz what you were eating..." I said sitting up
"You pregnant??"

"Yeah..." she said

My eyes widened.

"When did you find out??" I asked

"Today..." she said

I let out a deep breath and rubbed my face. I laid my head against the wall looking up at the ceiling.

It was quiet between us.

I looked at her. She was looking down at her hands. I slid my hand between hers and she looked at me.

"Okay..." I said
"We can do this..."

She smiled before jumping on me and hugging me.

"How far along are you??" I asked

"It said 4-6 weeks so a month..." she said into my neck
"It was from the makeup sex we had..."

"That damn kitchen counter..." I said making her laugh

I rubbed her back as I kissed her cheek. She lifted and looked at me.

"Do you think it's too early to have another? Zaylin is not even one yet..." she asked

"No, I think it's a good thing. Our kids will grow up together and then being close in age makes it better..." I said
"What do you think??"

"I just didn't think I'd be pregnant again so soon, but I wasn't surprised either..." she said

"Yeah, I understand. But we got this..." I said
"For the new baby, we can get a new room built up here or we can make space in there with Zaylin so they'll be together. If it's a boy, we still have clothes that were never worn. But if not, we gotta baby shopping again..."

While I was talking, she was looking at me smiling. I looked at her and her eyes were watering.

"What's wrong baby??" I asked

"Nothing, just you talking about the baby already gives me butterflies..." she said smiling

"Babyyy..." I said pulling her closer to me

"I'm so happy you're happy about the baby. I didn't know how I truly felt. But seeing you like this makes me happy..." she said

"There's no one else I'll want my babies with..." I said making her chuckle

"After this one, no more for at least a year or two..." she said

"Of course..." I said before kissing her forehead
"Have you told anybody??"

"Lani and Crystal were here when I took the test and Red came. They are the only ones..." she said and I nodded

She sighed before snuggling into me more.

"We're going to be a family of four now..." She said

"We are..." I said rubbing her body still holding her

I don't mind us having another baby right now. I mean it was bound to happen cuz we go raw every time. And I usually pull out, but we were so in the moment that night that we didn't think about it. And she sure didn't take a plan B either. I knew it was a possibility, but when I said that I was joking. But here we are. We're happy and financially stable, and we have own own house. She wanted to have kids when we're stable. Well, we're stable and you see what's happening.
