While they were weighing him, they called me ova and I cut the umbilical cord. I looked back at Milan with a smile, She smiled at me and we watched them do their thing with him. Milan was going to be breastfeeding so they started helping her with latching. It took Zaylin a while but he finally got it down pack.

"You okay baby??" I asked looking at her

"Yes, I'm okay..." she says before yawning
"Tired and hungry tho..."

"What do you want to eat??" I asked

"Subway with some chips and a drink. That sounds amazing right now..." she says making me smile

I told Mona what she wanted and they headed to get all of us some subway. While we waited, they were examining Milan to see if she had any tearing. She only had what they call First Degree Vaginal Tear. It doesn't require stitches cuz it heals on its own within a few weeks. Milan and I were relieved to hear that. After he ate, he got a lil burping, and he went to sleep. We call everyone to tell them to come see him. They brought back the food and I held him to let Milan eat first. He was whining until I put him on my chest where he could feel my skin. He then stops whining.

"He likes touching skin. I just noticed
that..." Milan said smiling

"He gets from his mom..." I said looking at her

"Mmmmm..." she said biting into her sandwich making me laugh

We were chilling when everybody came through the door. I saw balloons, bears, gift bags, and all.

"Heyyyy..." Milan said smiling

I waved trying not to wake him.

"We got y'all gifts..." Red said smiling

"Oh my god, he's so handsome..." Crystal said coming to us smiling

"Yes Girl, him so adorable..." Lalani said standing beside her

"What's his name??" Cam asked rubbing his hand

"Zaylin Adams..." Milan said smiling

"Awww you have him Zion last
name..." Cameron said

"Of course..." Milan said
"What y'all got for us??"

"This is Zion's..." Red said setting the gift bag with 2 balloons and a teddy bear

"This is for Milan..." Lani said giving Milan a big basket, a teddy bear, balloons, and a fruit basket

"Thank youuuuu..." Milan said smiling grabbing her gifts
"I love y'all so much..."

"Thanks, y'all..." I said smiling

I grabbed him and laid him in my arms as I got up. I laid him down in his hospital crib thing. He started squirming and whining. I put his pacifier in his mouth. He slowly stops whining. I turned to Milan.

"You done with this so I can throw it away??"
I asked

"Yes..." she said smiling
"Thank you..."

"Of course baby..." I said pecking her lips

I threw her trash away, grabbed my food, and sat beside her legs on the bed.

"Well, wifey and I bout to head out so y'all can have y'all moment. We'll be back in the morning Sweetie..." Mona said before kissing her forehead
"Get some rest sweetheart. Zion take care of her..."

"You know I will..." I said hugging her

They told all of us bye and they left out. I started eating.

"How you doing??" Crystal asked standing beside Milan

"I'm okay. Just a bit tired, nothing too major..." she said

"Do you have any tearing or had to get stitches??" She asked

"I had first-degree vaginal tear so I didn't need stitches. I'm grateful for baby cuz she helped me with everything that helped him slide right on out..." she said smiling at me

I rubbed her leg smiling.

"That's good. You had an amazing pregnancy and a smooth birth. I'm happy you experienced that..." Crystal told her

"Aww, thanks..." Milan said before reaching for a hug

They hugged and Crystal went to sit in Miles's lap.

"How you feel Zion??" Crystal asked

"I'm honestly happy. Excited about what's to come and start our family..." I said truthfully

"Awww baby..." Milan said reaching for my hand

I gave it to her as we smiled at each other. She squeezed it.

"Y'all are so fucking cute bruh..." Lalani said as they all smiled at us

For the rest of the time we were chilling and just talking. Zaylin was still peacefully sleeping. Around 9, they left and it was just us.

"You want some fruit??" Milan asked

"Sure..." I said sitting beside her at the top

I opened the fruit basket for her then we started eating them. They were just sitting there eating and talking. The nurse came in to check on her and the baby. They did that every so often throughout the night. Milan had finally gone to sleep but I was sitting up. Watching ova them both.

But after a while Zaylin woke up and he was ready to eat. I hated having to wake her up, but it was time for the baby boy to eat. I shook her awake. She got up and started feeding him. I was watching him.

"I wish that was me..." I said making her laugh

"Shut up Zion..." she said slightly pushing me as we laughed

"I'm so ready to take him home so he can see his room..." I said rubbing his cheek

"Yes, I was thinking about that earlier. But I think we should get a lil crib for our room. Just so he can sleep in the room with us until he gets a bit bigger..." she said

"Okay, I could get one delivered to the house as soon as we go home..." I said and she nodded
"Can't believe we officially have our own kid..."

"Crazy right..." she said as we smiled at each other

"We should give him a nickname..." I said

"What do you think??" She asked

"Simple, Zay..." I said smiling

"Okay..." she said softly smiling

Neither one of us could wipe the smiles on our faces as we watched him eat. I'm in love with my family. Zaylin is already everything we could ask for. I just wanted to spend the moment forever.

Once she finished feeding him, she burped him. I changed his diaper. We put him on another onesie, socks, and his hat. Once we got done with that, she held him until we went to sleep. I laid him down in the crib thingy and laid back in bed with my woman. And we cuddled.

The next day, he got circumcised. He was bummed out the whole day.
