Once court was over, we left. I can tell that Milan mood was not in the best mood. Even tho they all got their justice, it was just sad that they had to relive that. Pictures of them after beating were show and all. All of their moods were off after court. I feel for them cuz no one should encounter what these women have.

The car ride was pretty silent except the low music. Mona nor I knew what to say or do.

We dropped Mona off where Melody was. Melody talked to Milan for a while before we left.

I place my hand on her thigh and she looked at me.

"You okay??" I asked

"I will be..." she said softly laying her hands on top of mine

"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better??" I asked

"I'm fine, it's just reliving those days really put me down. I just need time to get myself back, that's all..." she said

"Of course baby..." I said before picking her hand up and kissing the back of it

The light finally turned green and I pulled off.  While heading to get food, her phone started ringing.

"Yes mother..." she said making me chuckle

She said quiet for a few.

"Everything's alright??" I asked looking at her

"WHAT!?..." she yelled
"Right now??"

She repeatedly tapped my arm while jumping her seat.

"Go to the hospital Melody's water just
broke!!" she said excitedly smiling big

I hit a U-turn and headed towards the hospital on that side of town.

"Oh my god, I'm bout to be a big sister..." she said still jumping in her seat
"Damn I didn't get to bring the gift..."
"Shit, I need it. I need it..."

She was fumbling with her phone. I grabbed her phone and held her hand.

"Calm down baby..." I said smiling

She took a deep breath.

"You excited??" I asked

"Yes, I'm bout be a big sister..." she said before letting out a cute squeal

I laughed as I kept straight to the hospital. Like 20 minutes, we pulled up, and got out. Milan ass ran in while calling her mom.

"What's the room number??" Milan asked hype
"244..."

"That's the second floor..." I said

Milan took off towards the elevator.

"Milan slow down baby..." I said walking behind her

Soon as the elevator opened she flew in.

"Come on Zion..." she said pulling me in the elevator by my pants

The door closed. She was tapping her feet impatiently. The door finally opened, grabbed my hand, and dragged me off the elevator. I just let her pulled me cuz she wasn't stopping until she found the room.

"Baby..." I said cuz she passed the room

"Zion hush, I'm tryna look for the room..." she said still dragging me

She ignored me. I pulled away from her and grabbed her arm.
