a/n: ANOTHER DOUBLE UPDATE!? 😧

Charlotte began strumming the guitar and my eyes widened. I didn't think it was possible for me to like her more than I already did.

"Here I am, torn into a thousand shapes and folds
Torn into a thousand ways, I know
Fornicate inside your broken homes
Before I throw a smile your way, no more
I can't tell if all my answers correlate at all
I'm telling you a thousand things I know
I've been missing a long time to know I had to move
I've been waiting my whole life to know I wanted you
Are you feeling me slowly? You can take your fucking time
And I promise I won't lie, we'll make it out alive
I'm on trial, I'm not so good at hiding wholesome truths
You see it on my face when I turn blue
So punish me, I'm hanging on your noose
So pull me up so I can breathe with you
I know, I've been missing a long time to know I had to move
I've been waiting my whole life to know I wanted you
Are you feeling me slowly? You can take your fucking time
And I promise I won't lie, we'll make it out alive."

My jaw hung open as she played out the final chords and the crowd screamed at the top of their lungs. I think I just fell in love.

She backed away from the microphone stand while taking the microphone off and made her way back over to me. As she walked over she pulled the guitar off her shoulders and handed it to me.

Charlotte's POV

Man, I wish you could see the look on Tom's face right now. He took the guitar from my hands and put it over his shoulders. "Well, what are we waiting for?" I shouted into the microphone as I turned to the crowd.

The music for the beginning of 'Darkside of the Sun' began playing throughout the arena before Tom and Georg found their spots again.

"Thank you so much for coming out to our show tonight! I hope you guys enjoyed the humanoid city! Thank you so much!" Bill yelled into his microphone as he and I found our way to the balconies once again.

"Hello!
Hello!"

Bill and I sang together and I pulled the microphone away and began clapping to the beat to get the crowd going. I would switch between clapping and waving my hands for the crowd to join in.

"On the TV, in your face, on radio, oh
It's a riot, it's a riot, they say no, oh
You are frantic, don't you panic, let it go, oh."

Bill sang and I continued to clap.

"We are, we are, we are"

I brought the microphone back to sing with Bill.

"In the cities, on the streets, around the globe, oh
They turn everything you love into verbot, oh
From the cradle to the grave, part of the show, oh."

As Bill sang the crowd clapped their hands along with me and it made me very proud.

"We are, we are, we are
Radio hysteria
Hello!
The end is near
Hello!
We're still standing here
The future's just begun
On the dark side of the sun
On the dark side of the sun
Hello!
Hello!"

Bill and I sang together as the crowd shouted the lyrics with us.

"All the weapons in your head under control, oh
With their radars, they are chasing our soul, oh
Time is running, but your future's long ago, oh."

Bill sang and made his way up the balcony some more and I remained below in the middle of the stage.

"We are, we are, we are
Radio hysteria
Hello!
The end is near
Hello!
We're still standing here
The future's just begun
On the dark side of the sun
On the dark side of the sun
On the dark side of the sun
On the dark side of the sun!"
