After All This Time

Is he?

Aleah thought about what happened that day. She can't sleep thinking about what Finn did and what Severus said. Finn lied about the necklace and it turns out it's from Severus.

Aleah can't stop smiling upon the thought of Severus giving him that necklace and with an engraved initials with it. It was so sweet of him to give her a necklace and charmed it with their initials.

Severus went back to Spinner's End and when he is on his bed he thought about today. The image of Aleah wearing the necklace he gave her made him smile. When he caught Finn at the Black's house giving something to Aleah and hugged her, he was jealous but when Finn left, his eyes were still fixed on to Aleah opening the box that Finn gave her and saw that it was the necklace he gave her before. He was surprised by it and so he brushed off his feelings of jealousy towards Finn's actions.

Severus can see the shock and confusion in her face, and so he approached her and told her it was from him. It was an idiot thing not to put a note with it, but he thought she's gonna figure it out that it is from him, he didn't know that Finn would lie just to take credit from it and win Aleah's heart.

Severus touched his cheek where Aleah kissed, they did more than that but the feeling of her kissing him on the cheek made him smile more.

Aleah and Severus slept with content and happiness at the same time.

Morning came and Aleah was in the gardens when she heard a knock on the door. She quickly went to the door and opened it, revealing Severus with flowers.

"Good morning Aleah," he said and gave her the flowers.

"Good morning Severus.", she greeted back and took it.

It was a pretty bouquet of peony flowers.

"This is pretty, thank you.", she said looking at the flowers and to him.

"Aleah, I was wondering if you want to have dinner with me tonight?", he asked her.

Aleah looked at him, "Sure.", she quickly said.

"Great! I'll pick you up by 7 then.", he said and went his way.

Aleah looked at his retreating figure and wondered, 'What just happened?'.

"Who was that?", she heard her father asked

"That was Severus dad.", she replied

"Why didn't you invite him inside?", Sirius asked and went to the door where Aleah is still standing.

Aleah looked at her father and said, "He just left."

Sirius looked at her confused and saw the flowers Aleah was holding.

"Oh.", he said and took the flowers from her and went to the kitchen to put it in a vase.

Aleah was confused to why she was still standing there and went to her father.

"Dad, he invited me to dinner,", she said, making her father turn to her, "Tonight.", she added.

"What did you tell him?", he asked and turned to what he is doing.

"I said sure.", she said, a bit cringed in her tone.

Sirius just chuckled.

Aleah went to her daughter's room and found that Selene is playing with her dolls and her teddy bear.

"Hey baby!", she said and Selene rushed to hugged her mother.

"Mummy come play with me.", the little girl said.

"Mummy is tending the gardens today love.", she replied and cupped her daughters cheek.

"It's okay mummy, I have Mister Sev here.", Selene said pointing at the teddy bear Severus gave her.

"Mister Sev?", Aleah asked

"Yes mummy, I named him Mister Sev for Severus. I heard Dada called Mister Snape Severus so I thought it's his name.", Selene replied.

"Yes love, Severus is his name.", Aleah said.

Selene went back to play with her dolls and Aleah looked at her daughter, admiringly.

"Mummy?", Selene called out.

"Yes love?", Aleah replied and made her way to her daughter.

Selene looked at Aleah and asked,

"Is Mister Snape my daddy?"
