1.8 Yu Feng Ge

Since clearing the air, the relationship between the two became more intimate than before. It started off innocently with the occasional hand holding and brushed knees. Eventually Lin Mo got bolder and bolder. He didn't know if it was because of the pregnancy or it was something he didn't discover about himself yet, but he absolutely loved physical intimacy.

Every chance he had he would grab Yu Feng Ge's hand, other times at home he would simply drape himself on the other as well as he could with his protruding belly. Lin Mo also liked giving kisses. At first it was kisses on the cheek or forehead. Perhaps because he was teased too much one night Yu Feng Ge grabbed the back of his head and kissed him till his mouth was red and swollen.

Before that fateful night they were both virgins, where his husband learned to kiss like that he had no idea, but he didn't dislike it. However there was one thing he wanted but his husband didn't seem keen on giving it anytime soon. Oh well, he had time.

Tonight was quiet. After dinner they spent the rest of the time in the living room. Lin Mo was watching some historical drama laying on Yu Feng Ge's lap while the aforementioned man was looking through some documents. At five months, coupled with his already thin figure, his belly has definitely gotten big enough that his usual clothes didn't fit him anymore.

There was no talking but the sound of the tv and occasional rustling of papers filled the silence with a comfortable atmosphere.

"I have a check up tomorrow with the OB. Can you come with me?" Lin Mo turned to glanced up at the man.

"Mhm, I already cleared my schedule for tomorrow." Not even bothering to from the papers Yu Feng Ge answered.

Playing with the man's shirt Lin Mo continued to fill the room with chatter.

"The doctor said that we can find out the baby's gender. Which one does husband want? Boy, girl, ger?"

Pausing his actions to ponder, he didn't answer right away.

"Any one is fine but," pausing, he looked down at his little wife on his lap, "Having a ger is also nice." Lin Mo stared back with a funny look, not giving a reply.

Yu Feng Ge raised an eyebrow in question. "What?"

"Nothing, I mean I'm just surprised you said ger. I would've thought you prefer a boy so they could inherit the family wealth." During his time here Lin Mo found out that although gers were also male their status was basically the same as women.

"Gender doesn't matter, as long as they are my child. If they want to inherit the Yu company then I will train them to the best of my abilities. If they do not wish to enter the circle then I will support them in whatever else they choose."

Lin Mo sat up, to the best of his abilities, and poked the man's face.

"What are you doing?"

"Making sure you're real. You're already a perfect CEO, you can't possibly be a perfect father too."

Catching that naughty hand, Yu Feng Ge gently pulled him onto his lap and placed one hand on his belly while the other encircled his waist.

"There is no such thing as a perfect father. I have never fathered a child before and will learn everything along the way with you. I only think this is what should be given."

"Well I think husband will be a good father." Lin Mo adjusted his body to wrap his arms around his neck.

"And you a good mother." With that Yu Feng Ge pulled him in for the first of many kisses that night.

On the way to the hospital, Lin Mo couldn't help but talk to the system.

'What if the baby has a defect? Or some kind of illness? Will it affect the task? It's not like I want it to happen but on the off chance it does?'

**All host has to do is safely carry and give birth to the baby. As long as the baby is born with little complications the main task will be considered complete.**

'Before you mentioned there was a system store. If my child were to have some sort of birth defect is there anything that could help?"

**The system store is filled with lots of magical things! However the things host is talking about is not yet available to host. Once host completes more worlds and gather more points more of the system store will be unlocked! If host wants host can have a look at whats available so far.**

'Why not, I haven't had a chance to look yet.' In his mind a window with the outline of an online store appeared. Scrolling through it seemed like the available ones were the cheapest and it got more expensive as you went down.

Taking a closer look at what was available, Lin Mo couldn't help the funny feeling that appeared at every item.

'Beauty pill, bowel cleaning pill, wine glass, ball of twine, all these things are useless!'

**Host not all these things are useless! The beauty pill can instantly change your appearance into a fairy descending the heavens! The wine glass is perfect if you are itching for some wine but don't want to drink from the bottle. As for the bowel cleaning pill-**

'Enough enough I don't want to hear anymore!' Lin Mo felt like he was losing brain cells from the system's nonsense. Lucky for him the car had just arrived at the hospital.

Because of Yu Feng Ge's status, the duo was situated in a private VIP room. It wasn't long till the doctor arrived with the ultrasound machine.

"Young master Yu, Mr Lin. If Mr Lin doesn't mind rolling up his shirt to expose the belly." After doing so the doctor squeezed the gel before using the wand.

"This is the baby's heartbeat. Just how we like to hear it, nice and strong." Indeed it was a strong heartbeat. Hearing it for the first time Lin Mo couldn't help but feel emotional. Feeling his hand being held, he looked up and saw the man who had a look of wonder in his eyes. He turned back when the doctor spoke again.

"And this is your baby." The doctor turned the screen so the pair could see. Seeing the sonogram Lin Mo couldn't help the feeling of wonder and amazement.

"Husband look look, it's our baby."

"En. Our baby."

"Doctor, can we find out the baby's gender today?"

"Of course. Give me a second here." Using the ultrasound the doctor looked around until he could determine the gender. After finding what he was looking for he turned to give the couple a happy smile.

"Congratulations! It looks like you're having a boy."

After cleaning up, the doctor still needed to talk about a few things.

"Have you had any fetal movement yet?"

"No not yet. Why? Is that a bad thing?" Instantly feeling anxious Lin Mo placed a hand on his belly as if to protect the child inside.

"Hmm, it's not entirely a cause for concern. For most during the first pregnancy fetal movement isn't felt until about five months. I wouldn't worry too much about it."

Walking out with a copy of the sonogram in hand, although Lin Mo had a silly smile on his face he still couldn't help but worry.

"A boy, even though we have to wait till he is born if he's a ger or not. Doesn't matter!" Turning to the man behind him he showed off the picture. Yu Feng Ge could tell despite the cheery appearance his wife still had some knots in his heart.

"Wife shouldn't worry too much, our baby is just shy." Knowing he was trying to comfort him, Lin Mo forced his worries down.

"En, I know. You know what they say, the quiet ones are always the loudest. Perhaps he will kick up a storm in the future. Don't be surprised if you find my stomach all bruised up."

Yu Feng Ge playfully frowned and placed his hand on the baby bump while gently scolding the child within.

"If you trouble your mother in the future I will face you against the wall to repent."

Lin Mo couldn't help but let out a snort. The child that was yet to be born was already on his daddy's bad side. He couldn't help but think that fatherhood made his man more silly by the day.
