*GREY'S POV*
I'm food shopping after work before i go pick up Lola from work.
My phone buzzes in my pocket and i pull it out seeing it's from Leah.
I furrow my brows answering.
"What's wrong with Lola?"
"Nothing is wrong. I just wanted to let you know that it's her birthday next week."
"What day?"
"May 4th."
"Okay thanks."
I've got to plan something special.
"I don't even know if she remembers. Her grandparents don't do anything on her birthday because it reminds them too much of her parents."
"But wouldn't she know her birthday from before the fire?"
"Yes, but you know her. She forgets things and she gets pre-occupied and it will slip her mind."
Very true.
"I'll figure something out."
"Also do i have to go big sister on you?"
"5 years working for me and you don't trust me."
"Of course i trust you. It's just Viola gets hurt too much and i don't want it from you either. She really likes you."
"Have you ever seen me bring another girl into the office before?"
"No."
"I rest my case."
She lets out a small laugh.
"Goodbye, Grey."
"Bye." I bring my phone down hanging up.
What should i do for Viola's birthday?

I've spent the entire week organising and planning for Lola's birthday. Everything is ready.
I pull on my black bather trunks and a black shirt adding my usual jewlery as Leah messages. She has really been a good friend helping me organise this.
It's been so fucking hard keeping this from Lola.
*Im about to leave to pick up Viola.*
*Make sure she wears bathers.*
*Shes wearing bathers with a dress overtop.*

I roll my eyes outting my phone in my pocket. I put Dug's lead on before placing him in my car and driving to the beach where Lola's birthday surprise is.
