Chapter 36.1: The Enchanting Encounter

Her words rang my mind. It took me back to the time where we met her during the second phase of ERCO 673. Those eyes, stance, red streaks of liners, and even her demeanor... everything is a mystery about her. Like a child living in Pandora's Box.

"I just find out that she's really not into socializing others," I spilled the beans, looking at her and continued, "I couldn't say that she's cold, stoic, and distant towards other people, but being a hero carrying the heaviest responsibility is a tough job to do and may cause someone's life. You know what I'm saying?"

There's something about that peculiar warrior. Her sapphire eyes holding the mystery. How come she came for Zenrie-chan at that life and death moment?

I don't know if having a familiar in this world is common.

I nodded and crossed my arms with a slight smile. "Understood. That will be a good idea."

"It's already nine in the evening. You have to find those flowers to summon her," I checked the time on my student's window and confirmed the time. My eyes widened a bit when I almost forgot the said time.

I caress my nape and chuckled a little. "Thanks for reminding me," nakangiti kong tugon. Zenrie-chan nodded as she still maintains her stoic face.

"Basta, mag-iingat ka."

Then, she left the living room and went to her bed. Napagod siya sa training at kakahanap ng impormasyon ukol kay Avicta at sa mga nangyayaring kakaiba sa virtual world. Just like Blue-eyed Maiden, she's also dedicated to her mission as well.

Not just being our commander, but also as a normal girl living to survive in this crooked life.

After the conversation, I quickly went inside my room and change my clothes and prepare my swords in case. I dashed outside the cottage and went to find the two flowers. Nakarating na ako sa isang hardin na malapit sa isang gusali at saktong nahanap ko una ang asul na rosas.

Yet, there's no moonflower to be found.

She even didn't mention what kind of moonflower I need to summon that mysterious lady.

As I walked towards the shore, I sat on the bush near the tree for a while and looked at the night sky. The breeze is getting colder but comforting. No wonder this place is so beautiful just like my drawings.

Nang paatras na ako, umagaw sa akin ang atensyon ng isang bulaklak na katabi ng puno. I'm uplifted to see the beautiful blue moonflower and pluck it. It has a good sweet scent and I'm more motivated to meet her.

Without any hesitation, I used the portal to take me immediately to the place where she mentioned.

"So, this is the place." I was in awe seeing how beautiful this place. It was like a paradise in the night filled with illuminating flowers, and even beasts inhabiting this place. Even the trees and a river nearby.

An illuminated butterfly appeared in front of me and rested on the blue moonflower. It was the prettiest with wide wings like the swallowtail. There are also shireis surrounding the place as it was indeed the most beautiful paradise in Avillerius. No wonder why the Blue-eyed Maiden loves this place.
