Chapter 36.1: The Enchanting Encounter

"Jairus, mukhang ikaw lang ang pupunta sa Bluis Astrae mamaya," paunang saad niya at nagpatuloy, "Sumakto kasing may ipapagawa sa'kin si Prof. Rythen para sa training natin bukas. Hindi kita masasamahan."

I nodded and smiled as a response. On the other hand, Zoiren sighed and started to cross his arms in anticipation. "Pasensya ka na Zenrie, hindi ako makakasama kay Jairus. May pinapagawa kasi sa'kin si Prof. Rythen para sa next training," mahinang tugon niya.

Zenrie-chan raised her brows slightly and shut her eyes as she nodded. "I see. Sinabi niya rin sa'kin na kailangan niya ang tulong mo sa isang imbestigasyon sa Shadow Filora. Guess he wants to see your detective skills this time," she said with a slight smirk on her face.

I just realized what she means to. There's a certain student who tried to farming Shadow Filora saw a group of Terbaeuses that are having a plan for their next attack, along with a mysterious Terbaeus wearing a black cloak, holding a strange weapon. But as for now, we have to confirm what are they going to do.

Zoiren excuse himself for his task and left the living room. This time, it was me and Zenrie-chan who are the only persons in this place.

"By the way, where's Emmie?" I asked as I fix the sleeve on my wrist.

I nodded and sat next to her. Yet, seeing her sharp glare, I made a little space. She's still mad at me as I could see in her night sky eyes.

"As usual," I sighed. I turn to her in a calming state as she's eating her tiramisu cake. "Well, about Blue-eyed Maiden..."

She lifted her eyes slightly as she returns her gaze towards me. "Hmm?"

"Did she really came from the story that your mom told you when you were just a kid?"

"Possibly," matipid niyang sagot. "But seeing the butterfly crest below her chest, you can say that she's indeed a character from the book. May napapansin ka bang kakaiba sa kanya?"
