Chapter 36.1: The Enchanting Encounter

I managed to pull the bokken on my back and block her attack immediately as she's thrusting to break the defense. While our bokkens crossed, her usual sly and emotionless stares struck me.

"Teka sandali! Simula na agad?!" She just smirked at me and never said a word. Mabilis kaming nagkahiwalay at nagsimula na nga siyang umatake ulit.

Zoiren, on the other hand, pulls out a bokken on his waist and started to attack Zenrie. Bago pa man siya makalapit ay pinakawalan na niya ang kanyang malakas na sipa at lumipad siya papunta sa isang puno.

Geez! Is that the results of her trainings from the past months? No wonder she regains enough power when she almost died on the previous second phase.

The flaring gaze in her eyes, it also gave chills down to my spine. There's a sense of intimidation in her aura and it's the rarest thing I saw when she's in a battle.

She gripped the hilt and exerted her strength as our bokkens crossed. Then, I did the same thing to push her and entangle. Yet, she's way too strong for this!

Zoiren managed to give her a surprise attack from behind, but she managed to dodge it and gave him another kick on his abdomen. When it's about my chance, I thrust my sword to push her and it finally did.

Napabalikwas si Zenrie-chan sa kanyang kinatatayuan matapos kong ihiwalay ang aking bokken. Her hair flowed in the air smoothly as she swings the bokken towards me. Zoiren manage to help me with his attacks, yet it's no use since she can dodge it effortlessly.

"Masyado siyang mailap!" malakas na bulalas ni Zoiren habang naghahabol ng hininga. We looked at her behind the mist and her cold and daring demeanor flashed before our eyes.

The slight smirk and her strong aura could even chill someone's spine when someone tries to mess with her.

This is the side of Zenrie-chan that I've never seen before.

"We have to focus on how to beat her," saad ko habang tumatayo nang maayos. I made a stance on how to attack her. It's a rare situation that I could fight with a single sword.

Kailangan kong matamaan ang sinasabing weak point niya. Isa pa, we need to know more about the whereabouts of the Blue-eyed Maiden.

Zenrie-chan took a deep sigh and made her assassin stance-the sword placed near her cheek and bend her legs a little. It's like she's going to use her speed to beat us.

She dashed towards us and released her four slashes, while the two of us are trying our best to beat her and dodge her attacks. Mas mabilis pa siya kesa sa liwanag kung kumilos. Her endurance and speed are so strong and can even read someone else's weak points.
