Out of boredom or curiosity,
Spiky looks up a place she's never heard of.
Reading an article a photo above,
The Stanley Hotel.
Her mouse follows her dull eyes,
And looks it up.
A Youtube video pops up.
Says the hotel is haunted, to her surprise.
She clicks "play" and follows along.
Four young men with a sense of humor,
Adventure and search for this rumor.
A creepy young woman appears.
The four young men are in fear.
She says she "sees things"
And shadows swing.
The boys joke,
When things move they croak!
Haunted house after haunted house,
History is reawakened.
Lights flicker, the men move quicker,
Their story plot gets thicker.
Spiky gets sucked into it all.
Their silliness, their willingness,
The bro-ness of it all.
One day in a video she finds out,
The two main men say with a shout,
"We're here in NY!
We're climbing Overlook Mountain."
Spiky internally cries out a fountain.
"They're here!"
The men I should say,
Are Sam and Colby.
They climb the mountain boldly.
They reach to where
A skeleton of a building exists.
They explore around and on a wall Colby sits.
The next thing on their list
Is to climb the fire tower.
The sun sets in its final hour.
The young men reach the top.
Wind blows, but they find a spot.
They slap on their signature stickers
And look at the camera with snickers.
"Anyone who comes here let us know,
If our stickers are here you might win some dough!
...Or a prize!" They smile as the wind bellows.
Spiky sits still at her desk...
"What the heck,
I have to go!"
