Back to editing the documentary.

Echo goes down the list of women

For at least an eternity.

It's hard to say if her memory has gotten worse.

She keeps saying, "This is old news.

We must find these women again first."

"We don't have their contact info,"

Spikey chokes down her impatience.

The conversation starts from the beginning.

This time Eco says, "We don't have their contact info."

Spiky turns around so her face doesn't show.

"Will we ever finish this?" Spiky thinks.

Echo offers her another sugary drink.

At home Spiky edits and edits.

She goes out to get shots of the city,

Because some of the cuts look if-y.

To cover up, she places a shot of a school

When children are mentioned.

A shot of cops to build tension.

A shot of the housing court

As a woman tells her story of sorts.

How she lost her home, now she roams,

And the landlord's ears are stuffed with foam.

"Why is there a shot of a building?

We know what a building looks like.

Why is there a shot of a school?

We know what a school looks like."

Echo continues for every cut away shot.

Be calm.

Be calm, Spiky Dot.

She's 82,

Doesn't understand what goes on behind the tube,

She never learned the tricks of when you shoot,

Editing to her is creative as staring at glue,

Her memory only lasts for a few,

So there isn't much you can do.

Don't worry,

It's not you.

Spiky kept her voice steady as she explains

Even if it's a pain.

"It's to keep it visually interesting,

And to hide the bad cuts."

"BUT their story is interesting.

We don't need shots of a building,"

Echo says, very unyielding.

The most Spiky can do is repeat herself.

She sits in silence. Unable to say anymore.

Before reaching the door, Echo says,

"I'm showing this to my friend.

We'll see what she says,"

And hopefully put this argument to an end.

A week later...

"She said she liked it...and that I was being picky

And stubborn."

Spiky doesn't want Echo to feel burned.

Inside she was so happy that God was on her side.

She knew there was only one thing to say,

"It's finished right?!"

"Hmm we might. Let's watch it one more time."

Spiky deflates, but presses play.

This will be number 105.

In the end Echo gives the "OK!"

"It's time for film festivals!"

Spiky shows her the way.
