Some think it's great!
For some the story flew over their toupee.
Most of the festivals sent emails with, "Nay."
It was either you liked it or missed the point.
Spiky is an offbeat type of filmmaker,
Who wants to move on to a new project.
"I said what I'd do, and I did what I said," is her logic.
With the world on hold
Spiky wasn't sold
To stay at home and do nothing.
An opportunity rings,
Though not through fame.
Let me explain.
Two friends of Spiky's who worked on her film.
Todd and his wife have to move out of the city.
With businesses closed, and the economy on hold
None of this is pretty.
He calls Spiky
Thinking she was likely
To take on his job as a film editor
For an interesting documentary.
Spiky is glad to accept,
And sad to say goodbye,
To her good friends
Who have to leave the city.
