At the nursing home they gather in the screening room.
Spiky prepares to share her film.
Her Grandpa says, "Let's see your play-film."
Spiky does a weak presentation before pressing "play."
The animation is not all there,
Some clips are too long,
The music isn't exactly where it belongs.
They reach the end.
Her Grandma says she likes it,
So does their old friend.
Spiky's Grandpa lends one piece of advice,
"With your presentation you needed more confidence,"
And ended with, "The movie is very nice."
The Grandparents' old friend suggests applying to Cannes.
Spiky adds it to her festival plans.
Will she make it?
Who knows?
All she does know,
Is that she's not at the finish line yet.
