There's something that isn't mentioned when you grow up.
As time goes on,
There are less friends who ask, "What's up?"
Less time wasted together wondering about the future.
Less conversations on the pointless little things.
Less "Wouldn't it be cool if we did this,
go there, watch that?"
Less empty plans.
More time alone.
More time to be off your phone.
More sitting in your room feeling lost.
More ifs, buts and excuses to not do what you should.
More and more like a shell of the adult you think you should be.
As we grow, so does the distance between our friends.
What do we do with the gaps?
We make our own maps.
Go find some new chaps!
Be open to anything
That will stop you from a collapse.
Petals and Red are still around.
New adventures can still be found.
Become strong.
Make a place you belong.
You got this Spiky.
