I'm sorry we don't have time to talk,
I procrastinate often,
All the while I walk.
I see you every night though,
Gleaming your hope through the night,
I'm greatful often,
Gazing at your light.
Here's a message for the moon,
I've been insecure and mildly afraid,
My life is changing,
Scared where I laid.
But I see you every night,
It never fails to bring me a smile,
Knowing I am safe,
You're distanced by the mile.
Here's a message for the moon,
Throughout the changes, you've always been there in the end
Thank you for being here,
I'll try to talk more often and once again.
