I've read that cats can share your issues,
Your mental state of mind
So I sit in ponder,
If she really curls there for I.
Is she just as lonely and insecure, maybe more,
While by my arm she sleeps,
So I sit in ponder,
If the same is why we weep.
Silent with steady, sleepy breaths all day,
While I hold her dearly tight,
So I sit in ponder,
Just how much she needs me in the night.
