Light Sleeper

I want to be a light sleeper.
To be able to wake up at the buzz of your text
And to be able to wake up to your calls and then next
To one day wake to the feeling of your arm over mine
Or the poke of your finger to my cheek at daylight.
I wang to be a light sleeper.
But I'm deeply asleep when the buzzed begin
Asleep or heavily dazed when you fight and cannot yet win
And with it is your silence aside from a small "hello?"
No more words and nothing asking beyond the tello.
I want to be a light sleeper.
But that I am not and cannot yet be
And so when and if I wake up st 3:30
With no morning sun yet on me
I'll remind you goodnight and a good morning.
