Swamp Bottom

My heart is in turmoil,
But I can't help but to see,
The fine aura of your beauty.

You don't feel my love,
I will never expect you to,
But all my mind imagines is of you.

Your beauty is uncompared,
A smile more luscious than sea grass,
I can only sink beneath your morass.

My chest is in chaos,
And yet you're the only friend I've got,
A bandaid to patch when I'm feeling a lot.

My love is unrequited,
Despite how mutual it once felt,
How, the hand on my cheek would make me melt.

I am the moss,
You are a whole willow tree,
I only am what the bark breaks free.

Your essence is unimaginable,
A soul and heart so destined to be true,
But I feel so lost, since there is no me without you.
