At first I was worried,
And then I got happy.
I know it sounds dumb,
I know it sounds sappy,
But through your laughter,
I can't help but smile.
Listening through a screen,
Giggles for a long while.
I know it sounds dumb,
I know you're gone many miles,
But hearing my name through your voice,
Has me with a dumb grin
Knowing I've made the right choice.
To be with you on on call,
Joking and happy,
I know it sounds dumb,
But my heart feels a little bit sappy.
