"Everything fine?" Someone asks as they knock on the door.

[What's taking them so long?]

"Just inspecting the corpse," Gojo-sensei gives a quick response, sounding like an epic battle between a Spirit has never occurred in the first place.

"Ah, then I'll leave it up to you guys," The sound of footsteps slowly gets quieter and quieter until it dies away completely.

"We have to go soon," Gojo-sensei tells us as he tries to stand me up, "Including you, Haneki," Without resistance, I stand up slowly. Or at least, I try to.

"...!" I immediately fall to the ground again, a headache gaining dominance of my body. I can't move.

"You okay?" Fushiguro asks as he looks down at me with cold yet worried eyes.

"Just need a minute..." I say without energy.

The minutes pass, but the pain doesn't. Even after a good four minutes or so, I'm still on the ground while Gojo-sensei, Inumaki, and Fushiguro are taking a rest.

'I'm so weak,' I think, 'How am I supposed to kill more Spirits if I'm like this after just one?' I shake my head and stand up, ignoring the constant sparks of pain sprouting throughout my head.

"Let's go," I say, not wanting to waste more of their time. Hearing me, Gojo-sensei opens the door and we follow him out one by one.

Time Skip

"That was a serious head injury," Ieiri-san comments, letting out a sigh.

"Sorry," I say weakly, running a hand over my hair.

"At least it's fixed now," She says, walking over to the sink to wash her hands. My head feels clear again and no trace of pain remains.

"Just stay still for the day, no need to tire yourself,"

"'kay," I say, getting in a comfortable position on the bed I'm lying on. I hear the door close as Ieiri-san leaves the room. I take in a deep breath as I continue to stare at the wooden ceiling. Then I put my hand into my pockets and pull out the picture the Spirit dropped.

I just stare at it, no particular thought coming to mind.

"Tuna?" Someone calls from outside.

"Yeah," I reply shortly after tucking the picture safely in my pocket again. I sit up on the bed, my back leaning on the wall. The door opens slowly, revealing Inumaki and Fushiguro, assisted by Gojo-sensei.

"Haneki~!" Gojo-sensei runs at me, making me flinch, "Good to see you alive,"

"Shake shake," Inumaki nods in agreement. Fushiguro also gives a slight nod. The three of them all look fine, after all, they only had minor injuries. They just look tired.

"Guess what?" Gojo-sensei suddenly asks.

When no one asks 'what', he pulls out a box from behind him, "I prepared food for all three of my wonderful students!" He opens up the box, showing seven slices of pizza.

"Sensei, you ate one," Fushiguro points out, looking up at Gojo-sensei.

"Forget that and let's enjoy the moment," He picks up another slice and shoves it into his mouth. We just stare at him.

"You three," A sudden, cold, voice from behind makes Gojo-sensei flinch in surprise.

"Get. Out," Ieiri-san orders. pointing at the door. Fushiguro and  Inumaki give me a last quick wave before hurriedly heading out.

Meanwhile, Gojo-sensei starts a protest, turning around, "Shoko, but-"

"OUT," She says again. And that's enough for Gojo-sensei to leave the room.

"Stupid boys," She says with a huge sigh, showing her annoyance towards Gojo-sensei in particular.

"Just try and sleep," Ieiri-san says to me, using a warmer tone, "I'll make sure they don't sneak in again," I nod a small thanks and lie down on the bed again. I hear her footsteps getting quieter, and the door closes behind her. I close my eyes, sleepiness coming over my tired body.

Very Mini Time Skip

I take a second lap around the mountain, and I'm about to head home.

"Everything... fine...?" I hear an unfamiliar voice from behind. I flinch and turn around, gripping on something that's not even in my hand. My hand raises up, pulling down my hood further down. My face is now covered from the man.

"I'll... make you... happy... my child," An old man reaches out a wrinkled hand.

"How?" I ask, putting up my defenses. I swiftly reach down and pick up a large rock. With the other hand, I grab his outstretched hand and point the rock at his wrist. I don't seem to trust this man. Yet. The man looks stunned, his mouth opened into a small 'o'. But his face easily becomes relaxed again, a small smile forming on his lips.

"You have the... skills to... kill people..." He says kindly as if this sort of conversation was normal to have, "You should... use it... more often..."

"I will,"
