sunlight poured through the clouds, ending the gloominess that the clouds had brought. you walked further into town after eating lunch at a local restaurant.
you decided to go to a garden and found yourself sitting on a bench near a fountain. you could hear the fountain behind you spraying water from its spouts while the vibrant flowers bloomed in the bed in front of you.
there weren't that many people at the garden since the weather had just gotten better, so it was pretty quiet as you sat there.
"oh no, oh no, oh no."
you turned around and watched a cart of garden supplies roll by itself before seeing a guy run after it. you watched the guy catch the cart before tripping over his own feet.
you slightly laughed by accident at the incident that had occurred. you got up and went over to the guy, who had started to put away all of the items that had fallen out of the cart.
"you okay?" you spoke up. the guy turned to look up at you.
"yea! i'm fine," he smiled and put a container back on the cart before standing up straight. "i'm kind of clumsy sometimes," he laughed.
you smiled back at him. then, you noticed something on the ground. you picked the item up and noticed that it was a badge.
"your name is hoshi?" you questioned and handed him the badge.
"it's a nickname. my real name is soonyoung," he mentioned, "nice to meet you."
"well, nice to meet you hoshi. my name is y/n," you said and held your hand out. both of you shook hands. "so you work here, right?" you asked.
he nodded, "yep." he looked at the flower bed next to him, "isn't it beautiful here?" he asked.
you nodded in agreement, "absolutely."
"you know what?" he spoke before looking around. "i'll be right back," he said to you before scurrying off. then, he abruptly stopped and looked back at you, "watch the cart please!" he yelled before running off again.
you raised an eyebrow in confusion but waited there. you saw a few more people in the garden while looking around.
a few minutes later, hoshi came back huffing and puffing. in his hand was a flower and he held it out to you.
"it's," he painted, "for you," he finished and stood up straight. "it's new," he mentioned.
you took the flower from him, "it's beautiful," you commented with a smile.
"i'm glad you like it," he smiled at you and put a few tools from his apron into a small bucket in his cart. "if you want, i can show you the new flower area. it hasn't opened up yet because we're waiting for all of them to bloom, but there's a majority already bloomed."
"are you sure? wouldn't you get in trouble?" you asked him.
he shrugged, "why would i? you gonna trample of them?"
"of course not!" you exclaimed, making him laugh.
"come on, let's go," he said and started pushing the cart.
