How I envy the moon
For peeking at you
in the window
Coz every night,
I couldn't even take a
glance of your shadow.
I love you from afar
Like a multitude of
stars in the sky.
But I want to
snuggle close to
you and in bed we lie.
I wish to hold you tight
as if the clock will no
longer spin around.
Kissing those cherry
red lips while listening
to our heartbeats' sound.
In God's perfect time,
our paths will cross
above the rainbow
Where love between us is
like a river—silent, but
deeply ebb and flow.
