"Wow, it's bigger than I thought it'd be."

It really is, Horikita.

Horikita, Ayanokouji and I met after school to go to the gymnasium.

Around 100 people were waiting nearby, indicating that almost everyone was looking forward to the fair and the clubs they have.

I, for once, was actually interested in the club fair. I mostly wanted to see if they have martial arts. If not that, I'll do Literature or Music... or Karate. If those are filled up, I'll do none.

Waiting around the back, we were waiting for the club fair to start. So as soon as we entered the gym, pamphlets with details about club activities were passed out.

"I wonder if this school has a particularly famous club. For example...something like a karate club?" Horikita asked.

"This school is nationally known throughout Japan. Maybe even the world. I'm sure they have all the popular clubs here. Even badminton. Or Lacrosse. Or European handball." I answered.

"Yeah, there's also the fact that a lot of clubs here seem to be high leveled. There are a lot of members in a lot of clubs that are nationally known, as Shinjiro said... what the hell is European handball?" Ayanokouji asked. I didn't answer his question though.

This school isn't really known for sports or even sports team such as basketball, Volleyball and even Tennis. But there seems to be a lot of clubs aimed for personal hobbies and self-development both socially, mentally, and physically. I like it.

"The facilities are also high quality. Look, they even have oxygen capsules. All the equipment put pro's equipment to shame. Ah, but it looks like they don't have a karate club."

"That's kind of a shame for me. I wanted to practice a little bit of Karate; I haven't tried that at all since I'm interested in some martial arts. I barely know anything about it." I said.

Ayanokouji doesn't respond while Horikita looks at me with interest.

"Are you interested in karate?"  Ayanokouji asks.

"I said the reason, no?" I responded back.

"No...no, I think you're misunderstanding. I was questioning Horikita."

'Ah, that makes sense.'

"Well, Horikita. Are you interested in karate?" Ayanokouji faces towards Horikita,

"No, not particularly." Horikita answers. "But you know, it looks like an inexperienced person will have a hard time joining a sports club. Even if someone made their high school debut, they would be a substitute for an eternity. I don't think it would be fun."

"Isn't that dependent on the effort they put in? After 1 to 2 years of training, anyone can become good. Like me."

"Pft!"

Horikita almost laughs at Ayanokouji's comment.

"I didn't think that the word 'training' existed for people who avoid trouble like you."

Ayanokouji glances at Horikita.

"What does avoiding trouble have to do anything with this?"

"Doesn't someone who avoids trouble also avoid any sort of manual labor? If you've declared that you avoid trouble, you should stick to your word until the very end."

"Ayanokouji, you like to avoid trouble?" I asked him

"Uh, yeah... there was an incident that happened in the bus, I didn't want to get involved in it. Wait a minute...weren't you there?"
