A couple of months have passed since Eddie had decided to stay in Santa Carla and you couldn't be happier.

From the moment you and Eddie returned to the beach house alone after riding with Steve to the airport, it didn't take him long to inquire about vampirism. You were hesitant to tell him anything because, while an eternity with him did sound pleasing, you didn't want him to rush into a decision without thinking about it. So, after he talked with you and then talked with the lost boys, you made him think about it for a couple of weeks before any decision was made.

And in those two weeks, he got to see the more volatile side of vampirism that you were scared for him to see when he first arrived.

Then another two weeks later, Eddie Munson asked you to turn him.

David had offered up the cave, but you wanted Eddie to be at ease when he woke. So, on your next day off, you and Eddie spent all morning preparing for his inevitable death and you reluctantly drained all his blood just after noon so he'd wake around the time the rest of the others showed up.

You were not prepared for Eddie as a vampire and the rest of the boys found it absolutely hilarious how even just a hint of fang from your boyfriend made you incredibly feral and possessive. To you, Eddie always had an allure to him, but now it was even worse. Other females were wary because of who he hung out with and the way he dressed, but his smile and charismatic persona put them at ease and in the mindset that they could approach him. But the second they did, you were right there and making sure they knew he was off limits.

And while you annoyed yourself for being so clingy, Eddie loved every second of it.

Vampirism surprisingly suited your boyfriend and every day the weight of guilt lessened when you witnessed that he was pretty much the same person you knew back in Hawkins.

And now? Now it's been a couple of months, and everything is going swimmingly.

"Babe!" Eddie shouts through the house, knocking you from your thoughts. "Are you ready to go? I'm pretty sure the boys are already at the boardwalk."

"Yeah! One sec!"

Looking at yourself in the mirror, you grab Eddie's guitar pick necklace and clip it on around your own neck. No one in Santa Carla knew that the necklace originally belonged to Eddie, but your boyfriend couldn't care less. You wore something of his around your neck and to him that was enough of a claim.

When you're finally ready and join Eddie outside, he smiles beautifully at you. He looks the same as ever- wavy dark hair hanging just past his shoulders, a jean vest atop his leather jacket atop a band tee, and ripped jeans riding low on his hips. You return his smile, skipping up to his side and kissing his cheek before holding onto him to keep balance while swinging your leg over the seat of his bike- a bike the lost boys had stowed away and took out upon Eddie's turning.

"Ready to go, sweetheart?"

"Duh. Let's go, Munson!"

As Eddie situates himself in front of you on the bike, you wrap your arms around his waist and hold on tight. You're not scared of falling off, but you do love pressing up against him any chance you get. And then as soon as Eddie takes off, you press your face to his back so you don't have to deal with his hair flying in your face.

The ride to the boardwalk isn't as long as you would like, so soon enough you feel the bumpiness of the boardwalk stairs as Eddie drives up them. You pick your head up as Eddie slows to a snail's pace, avoiding hitting anyone and laughing at the insults thrown his way.

Once parked, you look up to find Dwayne safekeeping the other bikes.

"Hey, where is everyone?"

"Searching for their next meal," Dwayne says. Your nose wrinkles, he grins, and Eddie laughs. "What are you two going to be up to tonight?"
