I expected to wake up on the plane but instead I woke up in a room foreign to me. Much like the house in Miami it had a dark aesthetic.

I moved to get off of the bed when a sharp came zoomed through my body from my vagina to my legs.

What the heck did this man do to me. The bedroom door opened a Christian walked in. He must've come from the gym because he was all sweaty. He walked over to me and picked me up.

"Good morning my love" he said with a husky voice.

I pecked his lips a few times, "good morning"

"Want me to run you a hot bath?" He asked. I nodded in response. "After your bath there's a meeting at 9am. I'll wait for you because you haven't been here before and I don't want you to look lost"

I slapped his shoulder. He chuckled in response. He placed me on the counter in the bathroom. I tried my best not to wince, but he still noticed it and frowned.

"I'm really sorry baby. I didn't mean for you to be in pain like this." His said with his eyes soft

"I'm okay, I promise and don't apologize. I loved every moment of it." I said with a wide smile

He hummer in response. While he got the bath ready I stripped. When I was done I watched as he added flowers, bath soap, and a bath bomb. He picked me up and gently placed me in the tub.

He went to walk away when I stopped him, "join me please. Well that's if you don't mind smelling like vanilla and mango."

He laughed, "now why would I mind smelling like my woman?" He stripped and joined me in the tub.

I leaned back on his chest. "How long have you had this house?" I questioned

"It was my mom's house first. She left it to Elora and i when she died." He explained

"Oh, it's pretty, we'll at least the bedroom is." I added

"I had it remodeled. Her favorite color was black, but the house was mainly white because she had extreme ocd and wanted to know if there was a spot anywhere. After she died I kept the white for a little but it was maddening, so I turned everything black."

Subconsciously he drew circles on my stomach, "can I asked you a question?" I asked

"Yes"

"In the mafia and people of power they are taught that their wife should look a certain way. They should have thin waists but I don't fall under that category. Yet you don't seem to mind. Why is that?"

"My mom wasn't skinny, in fact she was always terrorized by people in the mafia. So from and young age she taught me to respect a woman no matter her complexion, size, or background. Every woman deserves respect and kindness. More importantly every woman deserves love. I don't care what your size is or how much you weigh. It shouldn't matter. It shouldn't matter whether a woman is black, white, Asian, skinny, tall, short, thick, has vitiligo, or is albino. The only thing I care about is connection, and from the moment I saw you, I knew I had that connection with you. It's one of the reasons I stayed away during the first stages of our marriage." He explained

"Wow, the big bad mafia leader is a softy." I said with amusement.

"Only for you my love."

After our bath we got ready and headed down to the conference room. I decided to keep my outfit simple by matching Christian in full black.
