They continue to watch the little Fireworms happily
1 flies to Thunder's nose as Ryu watches it before it flies off
"They're amazing." Jun says in a gasp amazed by seeing the Fireworms.
"Mm, I'll see them later, I guess. I have sweat in my eyes." Alex tells the group.
"It's... It's like they can sense one another, where they are, where they wanna go." Ryu says intrigued.
The Fireworms continue flying as they fly away from the group
"Like a flock of birds." D'Angelo states.
"Uh, anybody sense where I wanna go?" Alex asks the group.
"Air conditioning?" Jun asks her rhetorically with a smile.
"Bingo." Alex replies in a displeased tone.
"Alright, alright. Let's head home and cool off." Ryu tells the group with a chuckle.
Thunder growls in agreement as they fly outta the Fire Realm
They arrive back at the Dragon's Lair
They take off their fire suits as they go back to their own dome
*Sometime later*
About an hour later, Alex texted the group in the group chat that she had to tell them something very seriously
Once everyone was back in the Dragon's Lair, Alex told them how a Fireworm had sneaked in her bag, that it was seen and caught by her moms and brought it to the lab
When she was done, everyone had a shocked look on their faces
"Sorry?" she tells them questioningly as she whimpers a bit.
"Sorry?!" Ryu repeats shocked.
"That's it! Game over!" D'Angelo yells out as Alex sits down between him and Tom.
"Rakke Corp knows about the dragons." Jun states seriously.
"No, they don't." Alex tells them. "Just my moms for now." she clarifies. "They think it's some strange species of lizard." she explains.
"Good, good." Ryu says calmly. "That means we have time to get it back before they figure out what they really have." he tells the group.
"And I thought telling you guys Eugene saw a dragon would be the worst part of this meeting." Jun says casually leaning back.
Ryu could swear he could feel his neck almost snap with how fast he turned his head to Jun
"WHAT?!" he yells flabbergasted. "When..." he continues trying to find the words as Jun just smile nervously. "When were you planning on telling us?" he asks her.
"Well, I was going to say something right away, but then Alex had way worse news, so..." Jun begins to explain.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Alex says quickly interrupting Jun. "Don't throw me under the bus!" she tells her.
"Could this day get any worse?" D'Angelo asks rhetorically.
Right as he says that the tip of his right shoe suddenly lights on fire
"Ah! Whoa. Ah! Gah!" he says in shock as he holds his leg and shakes his foot trying to put the fire out. "What is...?" he asks confused as he tries to blow the fire out.
Suddenly another Fireworm comes in front how D'Angelo before flying to the rest of the group as it lets out a small shriek
"Another Fireworm?" Alex asks confused.
