The truth is self-evident, they say.
But only if filtered by common sense, I say.
Common sense has gone away?
Bring it back in haste, I say.
We have only a small opportunity,
to save the world and humanity.
But how can we stop a speeding train? They say.
With great sacrifice. There's no other way!
It has been so in the past, and will always be this way.
What is sacrifice? He blurts.
Doing what's right even when it hurts.
There's no easy way.
