"What's wrong?"

I leaned up against a tree in the darkness of the night as my blonde teammate gave me a concerned expression. We were on lookout as Sakura & Sai slept.

"I'm okay.", I gave him a small smile. He was always so sweet and gentle when it came to me. Naruto would always go extra lengths to protect me on missions & would often offer me water whenever I seemed thirsty or drained. "My back is just giving me some trouble.", I took a hand to my mid back area, wincing slightly. I took a big kick to the area from an enemy ninja in a recent battle, I wasn't injured but now the area suffered slight discomfort.

"Let me rub it."

A masculine hand soon placed itself on my lower back, just inches away from the hem of my white cropped tank- the distance between my skin and his fingers making my cheeks grow warm. If I was any less melanated I'd be red as a tomato.

"I-"

"Let me help you."

Those beautiful blue eyes pierced into mine as I felt myself sink into his slight touch. He hadn't moved his hand a single inch but I felt almost engulfed into his small embrace. Goodness......He probably had no idea, but part of me always had a thing for the blonde —but that darn Hinata seemed be making her claim——causing me to back away from my feelings.

"Go ahead.", I half whispered, suddenly feeling shy.

The blonde ninja shifted his body to sit behind me as he moved my passion twist from my back, gently grazing my neck with his movements. My skin almost buzzing.

A sudden warmness came over me as Naruto began rubbing my lower back. I closed my eyes slightly, feeling myself grow fond of the sensations. His touch was so calming. So gentle. In a perfect world I'd let him massage my body after every mission....every single part...... I'd let him gently cause every pain or worry to fade away....if only things were that perfect. If only he were mine.
My head fell back as he began rubbing circles in the middle of my spine. I loved the way his hands felt on my bodice. He made me feel wanted as he caressed me.

"Mmmh-"

I froze.

The movements of his hands stopped.

Did I just—

The blonde peered over at me, his brow raised.

"Did you just?"

"No!" , playfully shoved him, causing him to grab my hand.

"Y/n." , he gave me a playful smirk. "You don't have to lie."

"I'm not ! Ugh-"

The blonde pushed me backwards. The rear of my body now leaned on the tree beside us. We were inches apart, my breathing growing heavy.

Naruto gave one of his classic chuckles as he took a good look at me.

"Let me go."

"No."

"Let. ME-"

Soft lips fell upon my cheek, causing my eyes to widen. My heart began beating like crazy.

Before I could react or respond even, Naruto gave me a wink before speaking, "Yo Sakura, wake up! It's time to switch!"

I guess we'd talk about this later.....
