33rd: If It's You

I left my unit to knock on Eustace's unit around 4 in the afternoon. Hindi niya ako pinagbuksan ng pinto pero bukas naman ang unit niya nang pihitin ko ang siradura kaya pumasok na ako matapos sumilip ng kaunti.

He was busy with his laptop at kahit ilang beses ko siyang tawagin sa mahinang boses ay hindi niya pa rin ako marinig. 

Dahan-dahan akong lumapit sa likod ng sofa tapos ay walang ingay na umikot papunta sa harapan niya. I laid a hand on the edge of his laptop then I closed it gently.

I smiled sheepishly but Eustace was smarter than I was. He held my left hand and guided me to turn from the back of the sofa so that I could be in front of him. Hinawakan niya ako sa bewang habang nakatayo, pagkatapos ay hinala para maupo sa kandungan niya.

"Mabigat ako," bulong ko. I was practically sitting on his thighs. 

I could feel them... firm. With our position now, a few subtle movements, I would end up bouncing on top of him.

"I could carry the heaviest weights, honey what more if it's you and your love."

I leaned in towards his chest then titled my head to gaze at him. "Aren't u gonna take me out for a date now, mister Mirantes?"

He was still in his pants without a shirt on. I smiled even more. "Caught you in a bedtime situation huh?"

But really, he looked disheveled but all hot and charming.

"Bedtime what?" 

Natatawa akong umalis sa kandungan niya at naupo nang maayos. 

"I'll be quick!" He immediately jogged to his room.

"You didn't shower yet?" I asked quite loud para marinig niya kahit medyo malayo na siya ngayon sa puwesto ko.

"I already did, love. Kanina pa, I decided to look like that so you could see me all hot."

"Hot ba 'yon? Mukha kang hindi inalagaan ang sarili matapos i-break ng jowa."

"Hmm, that sounds worst. But I bet that wasn't the case earlier. It is not the case that I looked like a man who has got his heart broken. Because I still haven't got a girlfriend and she's yet to break my heart."

"Parang handang-handa kang basagin puso mo, tsong ah."

"Basta ikaw ang babasag. Sukong-suko ako."

"Eustace," I mumbled.

"How about we get ready now?"

"You're gonna shatter my heart?"

"Get ready for the date..."

He kissed me on my lips swiftly.

"Maliligo muna ako. Baka gusto mo akong sabayan?"

"Aba't nagpanggap ka pa kanina!" Mahina ko siyang tinampal sa braso. "Hindi pwede, matatagalan tayo sa shower."

"Alam na alam ah."

Tumawa ako. "To clarify, alam ko ang mga galawan mo."

"You want it too."

I was silent but nodding at the back of my mind.

"You almost begged for it."

Nag-iinit na naman ang pisngi ko.

"Don't try to lie, Lienna."

"I am not," I immediately replied, hiding a giggle.

Tapos ay pumikit na ako at dinama ang pagyakap niya sa akin.

I was driving the car and the cold breeze of Detroit blew. Eustace was gazing at me and the moon was shining above—bright and full. He made reservations for us earlier... now we were finally heading to a restaurant.
