"I REALLY love to go with you and talk some more but-" Lumingon si Danica sa likuran. "I can't, for now, Lienna."

"It's still your shift, I know, and I understand."

"I can't promise anything since in the upcoming days, I know we'll be swamped," she said, her voice's strained with disappointment.

"Yes, definitely," I said. "No, need to worry about that. I think it'll get myself busy for the upcoming days too."

She nodded her head, her eyes scanned my face for any possible hint of pain or sadness, but I only looked at her with a smile on my lips.

"If you're ready to take on a job, I can help."

I nodded my head. "Thank you, Danica."

"Gotta, go."

I waved goodbye.

When I looked away from the entrance of the grill and turned to face Eustace, I saw him standing not too far from me. His hands were inside the pockets of his jeans, in the front pocket portion on the left side of his jeans has a small silver chain around it, saglit akong napatitig doon bago naglagi ang paningin sa mukha niya, he was doing some random stuff with his feet on the cobblestone.

Lumapit ako sa kanya. We weren't saying anything but it seemed that he knew what would basically happen next.

The streets lit up from the lights coming from several establishments around the area. My feet rumbled against the cobblestone in the same rhythm with Eustace's every step.

Walking along with a river of new faces in this street, tonight, as the wind blows on my hair, I couldn't help but close my eyes and appreciate the soft rumble in the surroundings synchronizing with the solemnity in my mind.

Wala akong nasabi agad. A portion of his medium-length hair showed and it made him look cute and attractive.

Alright, it's given that he does look more than okay for someone that should be hanging out with me. He has soft manly features and his eyes were in an exquisite shape that would hound you to look at them more than you should be.

"I think I know where we should be heading before we decide to go home."

"Hey, Lienna," ulit niya.
