"Alright, let's go!" we all cheer and I pull Natalie, and Sylvana in my room to get ready.
"So what kind of party is it? Classy? Not classy?" Sylvana winks, I snort pulling a red dress with cut outs, out of my closet and chuck it in Natalie's direction it lands on her face and she makes a noise of disapproval. Sylvana and I laugh as she yanks the fabric off of her face.
"You think this is funny do you?" She smirks Vana and I give each other a look. "Yup." we reply in unison. Before I can react a pillow is being thrown at me and Natalie is laughing. "Hey!" I whine. "Glad to see you're feeling better." I tell her. Nat's expression falls and I know I've done something wrong. But before I can say anything else there's a knock at the door.
"Is everyone decent?" Calum asks his eyes covered as he pushed the door open. "No, I'm completely naked." I say sarcastically and panfaced. "Well in that case..." Calum replies uncovering his eyes I take the pillow of the ground and smack him. "Ow!" "You pervert" I laugh.
"Can I uh borrow Nat for a second?" Calum asks nervously. I look at Natalie who jumps up and is already walking towards him. "Have fun you two!" Vana calls scanning the closets selection.
Natalie's POV
"What the hell has been going on?" he asks and I sigh running my hands through my hair. We HAD come pretty early to set up everything for Skyler, and ditched my Christmas Eve. But I had barely gotten any sleep last night, or the night before for that matter. I had just been tossing and turning, the thought of my father dying leaving an uneasy feeling in my gut, practically making me nauseous constantly.
I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't even find the words to even begin to explain the unimaginable Christmas gift I got this year. My dad dying. Fate just had a way with things. My vision is suddenly going blurry, and soon enough I'm crying, tears rolling down my cheeks and I try to wipe them away but it's no use.
"Sweetheart you know you can tell me anything right?" Calum asks and I nod, as he comes over, as my face is buried into his shoulder, and he rubs circles in my back. "Was it something your mum said?" "No." "Was it something from the doctor's? About your dad?"
When Calum utters these words my stomach drops, and I feel even worse then before. My head begins to pound and my stomach is churning so much I'm surprised that I haven't puked....yet. I quickly push Cal away as I run into the bathroom, before making it to the toilet and feeling my gut settle for just a moment before I started puking.
I then feel someone rubbing circles into my back and I know it's Calum because he then whispers "It's fine sweetheart, you'll be okay." I continued to vomit for what seemed like forever, before I was just gagging. I finally got away from the toilet as I coughed a bit, feeling light headed now.
"Here's some water." I look up and see that Ashton's brought a glass of water, along with a can of Sprite. "Vana told me the sprite would help in case your stomach is still upset." Ash said before giving it to me and I take it gratefully, taking a few sips.
"Is she alright?" Skyler asks coming in. I rub my eyes, still feeling like an absolute piece of shit. And it wasn't helping having all my friends around me at once. Although I was glad they were here to help, nothing they could do could really help me out at this point.
"I'm fine, I'm fine." I say rubbing my temple. "Natalie you're not fine." Skyler scoffed and I rolled my eyes and replied "My stomach was bothering me all morning. It's better now considering whatever was bothering it was out." Skyler doesn't look like she believes me. "Just stay home for tonight alright? If you're for certain you feel up to it then you can come a little later to Emma's party." Skyler suggests and I roll my eyes and say "Skyler I'm FINE."
