Kane POV

Everyone looks at me awaiting my answer.

Cattleya: "If it helps, I'm happy as long as I'm with you."

I think and debate. I look at Hajime ready to give my answer.

Kane: "I'm staying."

They all look at me.

Everyone: "What?"

Hajime: "Why?"

Kane: "Earth won't be as I left it. It'll be just like here. Walking into a strange world. Everyone I know is either dead or old so I ain't got much waiting for me. But here, I've got everything I've ever wanted. Therefore I shall be staying."

Hajime smiles.

Hajime: "It's your choice. But promise to at least stay in touch."

Kane: "I promise."

He holds out his hand. I look at it then him.

Kane: "Come here."

I pull him into a brotherly hug. Reluctant he returns it.

Hajime: "When I leave you better not do anything stupid."

Kane: "How can I, you're taking the stupid with you."

He rolls his eye letting go. He then turns around hopping through the rift. The others each take their turns saying goodbye.

Shea: "I'll miss you Kane."

She kisses my cheek then enters the rift.

Yue: "I-"

Kane: "Just do me a favor. Take good care of that idiot."

She smiles.

Yue: "I will."

She hugs me entering the rift. Tio hugs me putting my face between her boobs.

Tio: "I shall miss your punishments. I know it's selfish but I request one more before I leave."

A vein pops out of my forehead.

Kane: "Stupid horny dragon!!!!"

I kick her ass away through the rift.

Tio: "Yes!!!!!"

I wave the rift shut as Cattleya walks to my side.

Cattleya: "So what do we do now?"

Kane: "Fulfill a promise."

I step onto a dock. The first thing I hear is shouting.

Voice: "Papa!!!!"

Myu flies into my arms. We hug as her tears stain my shirt.

Myu: "You kept your promise."

Kane: "I told you. I won't ever break our promise."

Cattleya joins our hug.

The sun shines in my eyes making them open. I groan shutting them. Another groan fills the room as something soft and warm scoots closer to me. I instinctually wrap my arms around it and pull it close to be met with hair. I faintly open my eyes seeing Cattleya. Then out of the corner of my eye I see the sparkle of her diamond ring. I smile going back to sleep. I'm however woken up by the sound of our bedroom door being thrown open.

Voice: "Wake up!!!!"

That energetic voice then begins to jump on the bed fully awakening us. We sit up to our newest family member smiling at us.

Ember: "It's time to wake up Mama and Papa."

Cattleya: "We were already awake."

This is our daughter Ember. She's mine and Cattleya's official daughter. She's got her mother's red hair but my brown eyes. 

Ember: "Can we go to the festival today?"

Cattleya: "Of course we can. But first breakfast."

After a hearty meal we enter the festival. Ember sits on Myu's shoulders allowing Cattleya and I to hold hands.

Myu: "Sure is a lot of people."

Cattleya: "That's to be expected. Today marks the tenth anniveresy of world peace."

Ember: "Thanks to Papa right?"

Kane: "And Mama."

I sit on my balcony enjoying the fireworks. Looking to my right I see Ember and Myu fast asleep. I return my gaze forward to see Cattleya leaning on my chest with our arms wrapped around each other.

Cattleya: "Sure is lovely isn't it?"

Kane: "Sure is. But crazy how fast time flies by."

Cattleya: "No kidding. Seems like only yesterday we were fighting in that labyrinth."

Kane: "But look at us now. Married and with kids."

Cattleya: "A happily ever after."

Kane: "Wouldn't change it for the world."

Cattleya: "Me neither."

We share a kiss as I think to myself.

Kane: "Thank god for those Nazis."
