I wake up and Shawn is staring at me.
"What are you looking at?" I asked jokingly.
"Just how beautiful you are. I'm so glad I can call you mine again."
"Shawn, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry for what I did. I didn't think it would've turned out like this and I just--"
I got cut off by Shawn.
"Katie, stop. It's fine. I love you and don't worry about it because it's in the past. Right now we are together and that's all that matters."
"How did I get so lucky?"
"I don't know," he says jokingly.
I punch him on the arm playfully.
Today he planned to go ice skating.
He's an amazing hockey player so maybe he can teach me too.
I decide to go over to my house and get ready.
I put on some leggings and a sweatshirt.
I'm not good at ice skating either. What am I good at?!
I don't mind if I embarrass myself in front of him. He's the type of guy you can be yourself around.
I hear a knock on the door and know that's him.
"Hello ma'am. You look amazing today. I think we'll have a great time," he says.
"I'm so excited!"
We get in his car and I turn up the music and start singing.
He sings along with me and we are jamming out to one direction.
"Sorry I'm not as good at singing as you are," i say jokingly.
Once we get there he gets our skates and we get onto the ice.
He skates like its the easiest thing ever as I cling onto the wall.
He comes over to me and links his hand in mine.
Shawn makes sure I don't fall over and actually managed to teach me how to skate!
All of a sudden a group of girls come up to us.
They start to cry and I get worried until I realize why.
"Shawn oh my gosh I love you! Where is Jacquie?" A fan says.
"Oh, Jacquie and I broke up last night and I'm with Katie now," he says and smiles.
"Why? We liked Jacquie," The fan says.
I look over at Shawn and start to get a tear in my eye.
I skate off and run to the bathroom.
Of course. The fans like Jacquie more than me.
I knew he should be dating someone famous.
All of a sudden I hear a knock on the stall.
"Katie I'm so sorry come out," Shawn says.
"Shawn why are you in the girls bathroom?" I say
"Whatever, you are more important."
I walk out and run into his arms.
"I told you that you should be dating someone famous, not me."
"Katie, that's not true. Yeah they know Jacquie, but if they are really my fans they would be happy for me. I'm the happiest with you and that's all that matters."
I look up at him and kiss him.
We walk back out and continue to skate.
Who cares he's not with Jacquie anymore.
He's right. They should support his decisions.
We ended up having a great day and it went back to normal.
It didn't feel like we had broken up and had a huge fight.
It felt like a normal date.
We drive back to my house.
My parents are gone for the weekend so we decided we could hang out in my basement.
Once we get out of the car he picks me up off of my feel and carries me into my house.
He's so cute.
I unlock the door and hold his hand.
When we get inside he surprised me.
He pinned me to the wall and kissed my forehead.
He places kisses down my jaw and kisses me on the lips.
I start to kiss back into a passionate kiss.
He picks me up not breaking it and brings me downstairs.
Shawn places me on the couch and kisses me once more.
We end up watching movies for the rest of the night.
I missed his kisses.
I'll always love Shawn.
I'm so glad I went to magcon that one day or else none of this would've ever happened.
I love Shawn and I hope we will love each other forever.
