*1 week later*
Christmas is in 3 days.
I'm looking forward for spending it with Ian!
I have been avoiding Shawn. I don't want to see him, nor talk to him.
Today I went Christmas shopping. I got my mom a couple of candles and lotion. I got Ian a sweatshirt and my dad a coffee mug and sweatshirt.
Once I get home there is a note on my door.
Dear Katie,
I was wondering if you would like to join me and Shawn for dinner tomorrow night. I understand if you would like to decline, but I think that you and Shawn have a lot to talk about since you haven't seen each other for a couple of months, and from what have heard, it seems like you two were great friends! I hope you say yes because we would have a lot of fun! :)

Oh shit.
You know what, maybe it would be good to see Shawn.
Maybe seeing him one day would validate that I made the right decision.
I decide to text her and say yes.
Maybe I can make him jealous of me and Ian. He probably won't be, but I'll try.
I tell Ian about what Jacquie sent me and he said yes.
Tomorrow will be interesting..
I'm looking forward to seeing what Shawn has to say.
*Next day*
I wake up realizing today is the day.
I'm exited to show Shawn what he is missing.
I decide to get ready now. She invited me over at 2 and it's already 11. I take a shower and blow dry my hair.
I decide to curl it. Shawn loved when I curled my hair.
I then applied more makeup that normal. It wasn't too much but I think it looked good.
I put on a gorgeous red dress that I bought when I was with him and paired it with heels.
Even though I don't think I'm pretty, he did. I don't know how he saw it but I still remember everything he said to me.
I guess I don't look too bad today. I think I look better than normal.
I checked his Twitter and he tweeted:
"I love you guys. My fans make me so happy."
But then he tweeted this...
"I can't wait to spend Christmas with my beautiful girlfriend Jacquie."
I decide to tweet:
"Ian is the best person to spend Christmas with. So glad that I can call him min :)"
Afterwards Shawn tweeted just the single word "OK?"
We are almost like communicating but through Indirects.
A little later Ian came over to pick me up.
"Katie.. You.. You.. You look amazing today," Ian said.
"Aw thank you, Ian. Your compliment means a lot. You look pretty great yourself," I say and kiss him on the cheek.
We walk over to Shawns and I ring the doorbell.
I'm scared. I'm very scared what's going to happen.
Shawn's mom answers the door and gives me a huge hug.
"Katie! I've missed you so much how have you been? You look gorgeous by the way, have you gotten taller?" She says.
"Thank you Mrs.Mendes that means a lot! I've been great, thank you."
I look and see Jacquie behind her.
"Hi Katie you look great!" She says and hugs me.
She's nice but seems a little fake.
There is no sign of Shawn anywhere.
I'm super nervous to see him.
What will he think of me? What will happen?
We all walk downstairs and I follow behind Jacquie.
I look down to see Shawn sitting on the couch looking up at me.
