I could only give a small smile. Tina looks like she was already dealing with enough. And she looks really guilty when she shouldn't be. She did said she has a sister, she just kept Stephanie out of it. “So I'd quickly clean you up. Help clean boss office and hope my apology would be enough ” She says, walking closer to me. She seem uncomfortable.

“You know none of this is your fault, right? You didn't tell her to come down here to cause a scene” I told Tina calmly, she stopped midway in fixing my face then after few seconds, she continue powdering me up. “What I did do was lied about Stephanie being my sister”

“You didn't lie, you just kept her name out of it. And yes, you should have mentioned it. Did you befriend me because I'm dating your sisters ex husband?” 

“–What?! No!. I don't even like Dele for her anyways. She's too much and Dele... Is just Dele. They don't fit each other. They're just two opposite people. I really liked you and wanted to be your friend. It wasn't because of my sister I swear ” She looks sincere and also hurt that I had accused her of that. I couldn't help but feel like a complete bitch. I shouldn't have just thrown it to her face that way. It's just that after Stephanie threat, even if I don't want to admit it, it scares me. Then she's Tina's sister and I just don't know if I can trust Tina but I still shouldn't be blaming her for her sisters mistake.

“I'm sorry, I shouldn't have come at you that way ” I apologized sincerely.

“No, I did deserve it. I just don't like the world knowing Stephanie is my sister. They just always judge me before getting to know me. People think I'm a bitch like her” Tina sniffs, laughing bitterly. “You're nothing like her, okay? You're jovial, sweet and very nice to me. I really don't blame you for what she did”  I grab her hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze.

“Does that mean we can be friends? I'd understand if you don–”

“–Yes, Tina. We can be friends” I smiled at her. “Thank you” She smiled, adding few touches on my face. “You look less sex wreck now” Tina teases, we both laughed.

“Did Dele know you're sister with Stephanie?” I suddenly asked curiously,causing Tina's smile to fall. “ I guess he already found out from the bitch ”

“No it's fine” Tina assures me. “If he want to fire me for it then so be it ” She looks like she was trying to be strong. But there was no doubt she was hurting.

“You don't have to do that for–”

I cut in softly. “That's what friends does, right? Have each other's back?” She smiled just as a small tears fall down her face.

The door opened and Dele stood in the doorway, his arm crossed on his chest. “Well miss Grey, I'd love to steal my girlfriend from you” he pull me to my feet and whispered in my ear, “I have a surprise for you”

“Okay boss” Tina nodded politely and leave. Dele pull me in for a kiss, his lips fresh kissing my collarbone. “Okay enough sir. You aren't going to ruin my makeup. I won't let that happen”

He chuckle lowly, pulling me closer. “How's your leg? Sore?” He teases, kissing my lip.

“You pervert!” I playfully slapped his chest, blushing profusely. “You love the perv ”

“Yeah I love him so much” I agreed.

“Now... To the surprise ” he pulls out a blindfold. Memories of him blindfolding me the last time resurfaced. I couldn't help but chuckles, “What's your deal with blindfolds?” I quirk a brow, teasingly.

“It's the only way to be sure you won't look” He shrugs, blindfolding me.

“And trust me baby, you'd love the surprise” I felt a wet kiss on my lips as Dele led my way outside.
