Lizzie and Josie aren't related in this. You're actually Lizzie's fraternal twin. You're the daughter of Josette and Alaric. Raised by Caroline and Alaric. A syphon witch turned heretic after an accident. You're also sired to Hope much to your dismay. She uses the sire bond to embarrass you in front of Lizzie. Lizzie and you don't really get along. Josie is a witch adopted by the Machado Family. She was adopted before she was a year old. Josie didn't even know she was a witch until she moved to Mystic Falls.

I woke up at 5:30 in the morning to go for a run. I had to meet dad and Hope for sparing at 6. I've gotten up early to let go of some of the pent up aggression from having this stupid sire bond. Especially since I can't take it out on Hope.

My twin and I don't get along but my twin sure as hell is chummy with my sire. Hope may be the tribrid but she's putty in my sisters hands. I hate it. I wonder what ridiculous thing she'll have me do today. Especially since dad will be gone on a recruiting mission after our sparing session.

After my run I met up with dad and Hope. They had already started sparing without me. Which meant dad was probably in a hurry.

"Hey!" I made my presence known.

"Grab a staff and join in." Dad order.

I nodded picking up my staff and begin an attack on dad. Dad has gotten very good at fending us both off. Because of the sire bond I can't attack Hope during a sparing session. I'm lucky I can defend myself when she's on the attack.

After about 45 minutes of sparing dad says he has to go but wants us to keep at it before we have to go get ready for class. As soon as my dad was out of sight Hope sucker punches me.

"We're done sparing today. Go make sure Lizzie's ready and not late for breakfast." I simply nodded and vamped away.

I knocked on my sisters door and sighed annoyed when there was no answer. "Come on Lizzie. It's time to wake up." I called through the door.

"Go away!" She yelled.

"Hope is waiting to have breakfast with you." I tell her getting fed up. It was the same bullshit everyday.

Lizzie opens her door and looks at me annoyed. "God you stink. Shower before I feel so nauseated I have to skip breakfast."

Lizzie then slams the door shut in my face. I roll my eyes and go back to my room to take a quick shower and get ready for the day. As I did my hair I dreaded the day.

For the past two weeks Hope has made me do something ridiculous in front of the school just so Lizzie can laugh at me. What could she possibly make me do today?

There was a knock on my door. I was confused. No one ever comes to get me. I opened the door and saw Pedro standing there with big sad eyes. He held an undone bow tie in his hand.

"What's wrong Pedro?" I knelt down to his level as his eyes watered and his lips trembled.

"I... I wanna stay with you." He clung on to me as if he was scared to let go.

"We have class starting soon." I pulled him into my room and closed the door. "What happened Pedro?"

"Some of the kids were laughing at me cause I couldn't tie my bow tie. Mama always bought the little clip on ones. I never had a real one. I don't know how to do it." He cried.

I chuckled a bit. "Oh Pedro. I can fix it for you and teach you a spell so you can always have the perfect bow tie."

"Really?" He sniffled.

"Really." I smiled before taking the bow tie and placing it around Pedro's neck.

I waved my hand "perfectum arcum tatem omni tempore." I said.
