You and Josie liked each other but that got derailed when she got filled with black magic. After Dark Josie was defeated you noticed how much Josie's pulled away from everyone and is always pretending to be okay and you wrote her a song
Btw this is short

I walked into the grill with the whole upper class from the Salvatore School. We were having a singing event at the grill. It had always been one of Josie's favorite events. Tonight though, Lizzie basically had to drag Josie here which I was grateful for.

I wrote a song for Josie. I wanted her to know she wasn't alone and that she can get passed all this. I hate seeing her the way she's been lately. I missed seeing her happy. I missed when the little things I did made her smile.

Kaleb and MG went first then Raphael and Landon. Who knew the mop head could sing? Then Landon surprised us pulling Hope onto the stage. Most surprising of all was when she sang with him.

Then it was my turn...

I walked on the stage and cleared my throat while grabbing the mic.

"Woooh!!! We get another original song!!!"

"Finally real talent!"

"Sing! Sing! Sing!"

My classmates knew me. I always had a new song when I performed.

I took a deep breathe. "I wrote this song to remind a special friend it's okay to try again." I smiled my eyes scanning the crowd for Josie.

I looked at Josie and she looked at me confused. She pointed at herself and I winked at her as the music began playing.

Brown eyes, brown Hair

Her eyes welled up at the first line.

Yeah, that sunlight, that glare
But she seems insecure in all the photos
She hides inside
Her emotions aside
So, she can seem okay
Can't have her friends know
But way deep down
She's a lost soul searching
Small town girl
Never know she's hurting
She just wants to be herself
But sometimes it's alright
To fake it 'til you make it
Just don't let that be your saving
Sometimes when your life
Seems lost with no direction
It's okay to not accept it
Sometimеs you're not fine
And there's nothing that you can do about it
But somеtimes when you feel so defeated
Just get back up on your feet
And try again
And she stays outside
Thoughts keep filling her mind
That she might fail again
If she tries to let go
And she goes to cry
When there's no one beside her
'Cause no one really knows
The things she goes through
'Cause way deep down
She's a lost soul searching
Small town girl
Never know she's hurting
She just wants to be herself
But sometimes it's alright
To fake it 'til you make it
Just don't let that be your saving
Sometimes when your life
Seems lost with no direction
It's okay to not accept it
Sometimеs you're not fine
And there's nothing that you can do about it
But somеtimes when you feel so defeated
Just get back up on your feet
And try again
When you feel so defeated
Try again
When you feel so defeated
Try again

By the end of the song Josie was silently crying. I ignore the applauses and praise as I went to Josie. I grabbed her hand pulling her out of the grill.

"Where are we going?" Josie whispered still following me but tightened her grip on my hand.

I smiled at her. "I figured you'd want to be away from all of them, at least for a little."

She pulled my hand back stopping us from walking any further. She looked at me with a frown. "Did you really write that song for me?" She whispered.

I gave her a reassuring smile. I gently picked up one of her curls. "Brown hair." I pointed at her big brown eyes. "Brown eyes."

She scoffed taking her hair out of my hand. "Half the girls in the world have brown hair and brown eyes."

I laughed nodding. She glared at me.

I shook my head. "That might be true but the song is about you Jojo."

I saw her face go bright red.

"Why did you write it?" She looked at her feet.

"I told everyone before I sang it. That it's okay for you to try again."

She shook her head. "I put away my magic. I'm not ready to try again."

I smiled shaking my head. "I know Jojo." I took both her hands in mine and looked at her. "I meant it was okay to let yourself try and be happy again."

She gulped her eyes flickering from my lips to my eyes. I gently bit my lip knowing she wouldn't resist. She leaned in slowly and I met her half way.

She gently kissed me pulling away only moments after. I frowned. That kiss was a tease. I've waited so long to kiss her again.

"How don't you hate me?" Josie whispered a tear falling down her cheek.

I shake my head in disbelief that she would ever think I would hate her. I grabbed her face kissing her hard. She kissed me back our kiss soon becoming salty.

I pulled away resting my forehead against here. "I could never hate you Jojo. That wasn't the real you."

More tears escaped her eyes but she didn't care. She pulled me in for another kiss. I finally had my Jojo back.
