Penelope has just left for Belgium, and you think finally you have a shot with Josie; that was until a new girl with red hair and blue eyes started at the Salvatore school and became your roommate

I walked down the hall to meet the twins; apparently, we were giving a new witch the tour of our school. They wanted me to meet her and be a welcome buddy. A special request from their Aunt Bonnie since she will be my new roommate. It made me nervous to know I'd be getting a roommate again. My roommate, last year, almost killed me after she lost control of her magic. She has her own room now and has better control, but I was still anxious. Why did Bonnie want me? I know she requested that she be put with someone the twins trusted. I just don't know what I am in for and it's terrifying.

I met Josie by the stairs confused not seeing the blonde twin. "Where's Lizzie?"

Josie simply rolled her eyes. "She said we can handle it and ran off with Hope to do god knows what."

I shook my head turning around to leave. "If she gets to get out of this; I'm out of here."

Josie quickly grabbed my hand turning me around to face her again.

"You don't get to just skip out y/nn." She pouted making me sad. "It's not like you can avoid her; she will be your roommate."

I sighed a bit frustrated knowing she was right.

"Please; for me?" She looked at me with her big brown eyes and signature pout and I knew there was no way to get out of this.

"Fine. Just stop looking at me like that." I sighed in defeat.

Josie squealed happily pulling me downstairs not once letting go of my hand. We walked into Alaric's office to see that he wasn't there, but Caroline and Bonnie were with the new girl. I immediately noticed her fiery red hair, her crystal blue eyes, the innumerable freckles that covered her face. There was no denying that she was a gorgeous girl.

"Mom!" Josie said excited.

"Girls! You made it." Caroline smiled but then frowned confused. "Wait, where is your sister, Josie? Didn't your dad tell both of you to be here?"

I chuckled. What lie will Josie be telling today? She always covered for Lizzie. Josie shot a glare at me before letting go of my hand and walking over to hug her mom.

"She went to help Hope with something. She said she was sorry, but dad didn't mention you'd be here." Josie hugged her mom as she spoke.

Caroline simply laughed holding her daughter tight. "It's called a surprise baby. I guess I can see her before we head out."

"Again? Mom, you just got back." Josie frowned.

"I know sweetheart. I just really need your moms help." Bonnie spoke with a small frown on her face.

"With what?" Josie asked confused.

"Don't worry Josie. I'll be back before you know it." Caroline hugged her daughter trying to reassure her.

"You always say that." Josie sighed annoyed pulling away from Caroline. "Who's the new girl you brought, Aunt Bonnie?"

Bonnie grabbed the red head's hand causing the red head to smile and look at ease for the first time since we walked in. "This is Imogen. She's going to be going to school here for a while and I need you guys to help her the best you can. She's the closest I'll ever be to having a daughter of my own." Bonnie looked at me more than Josie and it was unnerving.
