After walking out on Penelope you finally run into her at a party you're playing at. You're number one song is one she inspired. She's never heard it till she sees you preform it.

I finish setting up for my set. I was on in five minutes. I was only playing this party for a friend. She really loved my song Penelope inspired.

I swayed to the music as it begins to play.

I looked out into the crowd and saw a raven haired girl weaving through the people. Penelope? It can't be.

Penelope was in tears shaking her head. "Don't do this! We can fix whatever it is!" It hurt me to see her that way but I knew I had to go. "I'm sorry Penelope." I turned around walking out of the house. "Don't leave me!" I heard her yell as I got into my car.

Penelope looked up at me and shook her head. 'I don't hate you' she mouthed and my heart began to ache.

Summer nights were feeling kinda strange

"Babe are you ready?" I yelled excitedly. Penelope groaned annoyedly. "Do we really have to go?" I felt my smile drop. I shrugged, "No, I guess not." It was the first time she just wasn't in the mood to go out and do anything with me.

Sleeping back to back

Both Penelope and I had been working crazy hours and we were only sleeping together. I was hugging her one night when she pushed me off and said she needed some space. Space turned into sleeping back to back. And when we'd argue she would put a pillow in between us.

I knew we'd never last

I sat at the dinner table alone because Penelope had another late night at work. I've ate dinner alone every night for the past six weeks. This wasn't what it was supposed to be like for me. For us.
