Khaleea's POV
I live alone in my one bedroom apartment. I'm 17, but I moved out because I was annoyed by my parents. I got my own place and I have a job at Hollister.
I was laying in my bed, being lazy like I always do on Saturday nights, when I got a text from my best friend, Nash.
Nashy💙- Hey K. Wanna hang out tonight?
Me- Sure. 7 sound good?
Nashy💙- Perfect. See you then.
Nash and I have been best friends since we were born. Our parents were best friends, so we grew up together.
I've had a crush on him since 7th grade, but I didn't want to ruin our friendship. He probably doesn't feel the same way.
It was 6:30, so I decided to make myself look decent. I got in the shower and washed my hair and body. I got out and blow dried my long brown hair. I put on an aqua tank-top, white leggings, and an aqua bandana. I put on some eyeliner to make my brown eyes pop. I cleaned up a little until I heard a knock at the door.
I opened it and Nash was standing there with a pizza, a bag of junk food, and a few movies.
"Aw Nashy. You know me so well!" I said.
We hugged and I helped him carry everything to my room.
"What should we watch? Grown Ups 2, That Awkward Moment, 22 Jump Street, or The Neighbors?" he asked.
"Hmmm...Grown Ups 2." I said.
He put the movie in the DVD player and we pigged out on junk food while laughing our butts off.
About 3/4 through the movie, I felt Nash looking at me. I looked at him and got lost in his bright blue dreamy eyes. He leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back.
I felt fireworks everywhere and butterflies in my stomach. We pulled away and he smiled.
"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that." he whispered.
"Then do it again." I said.
He leaned back in and kissed me again, but this time, with more passion. I smiled into the kiss. We pulled away and he smiled.
"Khaleea, would you be my girlfriend?" he asked.
"I would love nothing more." I said.
We spent the rest of the night cuddling and watching movies.
10 Years Later
Nash and I have been married for 5 years and have 2 year old twin boys named James and Justin and a 3 month old girl named Audrey. We couldn't be happier with each other.
