RORY MORAIS dreamed of having the typical, all american, white picket fence life. And she had that wish, all until her mother died in an experiment gone wrong in which she acquired superpowers. Superpowers such as witch craft and the usage of the great mythical gods.
Rory grew to control her powers, only using them when she would leave her home at late hours of the night to protect the innocent. However, after news of her spread and her father found out, a compromise needed to be formed.
Manny Morais knew he could trust his daughter to watch out for herself, but he had always been scared for her after the death of his beloved wife. After much convening, the father could see the yearning his daughter had for this second life.
Rory and Manny's compromise worked out well for many years. But when a new vigilante sprung up, Manny wanted to take it all back. The police believed hun to be bad, and so did the father.
Rory was distraught, but was able to convince her father to let her out again, on the promise she wouldn't try to find him. But some things are better left unsaid. Even if it means Rory could be harmed.
she would do anything to protect the city, and the spider-man !
