She's been bullied about her image all her life. Some how, no one could tell him anything that would tear him down. They've crossed paths before but she was too caught up in her mind to notice that he found her beautiful.
He wanted to talk to her bu...
The next week at school was amazing. Jae and i, we weren't necessarily back together we were just taking things slow and kinda seeing if we could work again.
Basically everything was the same really. "morning beautiful" i said as jaeda opened the car door. "good morning, what's got you in such a good mood?" she asked while smiling.
"well, our school is playing in the south regional semifinals, and ya boy here is in it to win it" i said while smiling. "you'll be there, right?" i asked and she nodded happily.
"what time is it?" she asked. "3" i said, watching her smile fade slowly. "jaeeee" i said while sighing. "i'm sorry, i just have a thing at 3 i'll make it to the next one- you said that for the last two games!" i cut her off.
"i'm sorry" she mumbled. "yeah it's whatever" i mumbled while driving off. "when's the next game?" she asked and i simply gave her a shrug. I was excited to have my girl there, y'know cheering for me and stuff.
"can you just reschedule it? please?" i asked. "i've been putting it off for weeks now and my mom is really on my ass about it" she explained as i nodded. "i'll make it to the next one. i promise" she said while kissing my cheek.
"are you mad at me?" she asked in a baby voice while giving me those puppy eyes. "mhmmm i don't know" i mumbled while smiling a bit. "i pinky promise i'll make it to the next one" she said while pecking my lips after each word.
"fine, but can you come to the after party?" i asked while taking my bag out of the backseat. "yeah i'll be there" she said happily as i threw my arm around her shoulders. "and you'll wear my jersey to the next game right?" i teased, smiling when she rolled her eyes.
"what?! you gotta practice from now, for when you become an NBA wife" i joked, laughing when she gave me a pose, showing me her imaginary wedding ring. "aye!" i cheered her on before she laughed at herself.
"don't ever do those poses again though" i whispered. "how rude!" she scolded me while slapping my arm. "yoooo wassup?!" alex said while appearing beside of me. "dude?! where did you come from?" i asked in complete confusion.
"i was walking behind y'all the whole way. anyways, you ready for the game? coach is really counting on you" he said and i nodded confidently. "i'm ready, and excited" i said, and i wasn't lying.
Even my parents would be there, yeah it sucked that jae couldn't make it but at least i had my mom and amelia there. "is there any way i could watch it?" jaeda asked.
I could already tell she was feeling guilty. "i don't think so, i'll just tell you how it went after" i said and she sighed. "oh, ok that's fine" she mumbled. I walked her to her first class of the day, opening the door for her.
