I had my outfit and makeup look planned from the night before. I've never worn anything like this at school but today's the start of a new jaeda.
It was a TIGHT yellow dress that showed my figure like never before. The word tight was an understatement for this dress. I felt confident and comfortable for once. "someone's downstairs for you" kyle said while barging into my room.
"thank you, but knock dude" i said while smiling at him. I took up my bag before hugging ma quickly before she could fully register my outfit.
"damnnnn!" i heard delilah exclaim from the front seat. "turn around for me girl!" alex joined in. I gave them a quick spin, hearing both of them shout 'damn'.
We picked up maya and then headed to school. "chin up" delilah said as i was rethinking my outfit. "you got it" maya said as i smiled. "i got it" i said to myself while fixing my dress.
I walked into the building, i already got stares. But they weren't the stares i was used to. "damn" guys whispered while looking me up and down causing me to smirk.
He stared at me, as if he didn't care if he got caught staring. I mean i did look AMAZING. "hey!" gabriella said while slapping his chest. "what?!" he said, causing gabriella to roll her eyes.
Multiple guys and girls stared at me, one guy was even brave enough to come up to me. "hello i'm santiago" he said, a spanish accent evident in his voice.
"you're jaeda right?" he asked as i nodded. He pronounced the 'j' in my name like a h. It was cute. "principal jackson said that you'll be my tour gui-guide around the school, but you look confused" he said while registering the look on my face.
"it's just that i've never seen you around before" i spoke up. "oh im new, i just moved to the US act-actually" he said as he looked down as if he was embarrassed.
"really?! from where?" i asked. "spain, i don't speak english very well, but you know i'm tryeng" he said causing me to smile. "just to correct you it would trying, like the action, it has an 'i' sound" i said as he nodded.
"can you re-repeat it?" he asked, struggling to pronounce the word repeat. "trying" i said, hearing him repeat it effortlessly. I could tell that he had quite a challenge pronouncing his r's but it was cute if you asked me.
"ok so you have the library here" i said while showing him around. "um this is the cafeteria, then you have science department and math over there" i said as he followed behind me.
