"I'm so sorry," Felix said as soon as Chan walked away. "Can I help treat that cut and bruises?" he asked, already trying to open his backpack to get the first aid kit.

"Felix calm down first," Jisung said, stopping him from opening his backpack and holding him by his shoulders so that Felix would look at him.

"I shouldn't have said anything to him about it."

Jisung frowned at the sight of the younger crying and gently moved his hand up to wipe his tears away, not that it helped much since they seemed to be continuously flowing.

"Hey, it's not your fault. I also said some things to make him even madder. I was pretty much asking for it. You stopped him before he did anything too bad."

"But if I didn't tell him that I have been talking to you then he wouldn't have been so mad, to begin with."

"It's okay, I promise." Jisung tried to reassure.

"You already said that you didn't want to talk to me anymore. I should have just left it alone but I wanted him to stop because you don't deserve it and-"

Jisung cut Felix off by pulling him closer for a hug. He winced a bit when Felix instinctively wrapped his arm around his bruised-up waist. However, it seemed worth it after a few minutes when it sounded like Felix had stopped crying.

"I'm sorry I said that. I was scared that you were secretly telling stuff to Chan or something. I was just being paranoid."

"You don't hate me?"

"Of course not. I don't see how anyone ever could." Jisung said, leaning back from the hug a bit. He gently ran his thumb across the freckled boy's cheek, wiping the remaining tears and admiring his features in the process.

"I think Chan does," Felix mumbled, refusing to look up at the other's eyes.

"I really don't think that's the case. He's mad that you chose to stay here over going with him. He doesn't hate you."

"Do you still not want me to talk to you anymore?"

"I loved hanging out with you but I don't want you to stress yourself out this much."

"I like you a lot though," Felix said and Jisung stared back at him in shock.

"N-not like that. I just meant that I don't want to stop talking to you because of Chan."

"I know you didn't mean it that way." Jisung awkwardly laughed a bit, trying to get himself to stop blushing since he most definitely thought for a split second that the younger had confessed.

"I can get Chan to stop. Please?"

"It's okay even if you can't. I'm kinda used to it now but I don't wanna see you cry again, okay? I won't stop talking to you if you don't want me to."

"Thank you," Felix replied, laying his chin on Jisung's shoulder, careful not to move his arms this time since he was worried about the bruises.

Jisung desperately wanted to ask Felix why Chan acted like that. He couldn't completely be a horrible person. Felix wouldn't talk to him if he was. But at the same time, it felt wrong to ask about something that could be extremely personal.

"Can I help you now?" Felix asked a few seconds later, snapping Jisung out of his thoughts.

"Yeah."

Jisung watched as Felix pulled Jisung to sit down in front of him and pull out the first aid kit from his backpack.

"Your makeup looks really pretty." Felix complimented as he cleaned up the cut as gently as possible and trying to start a conversation at the same time.

"Thanks" Jisung smiled at him.

"Umm don't you have bruises on your stomach too?" Felix asked, holding the ointment in his hand awkwardly.

"Yeah but it's fine. Don't worry about it." Jisung replied with a small laugh.

"They will heal faster if you put this on them though."

"Go ahead then," Jisung stated, lifting his shirt up enough so the bruises were visible.

"A-are you sure you don't wanna apply it yourself?"

"Oh- I can if you're uncomfortable."

"No, it's fine," Felix said, putting some onto his fingers and carefully rubbing onto Jisung's bruises.

It was a very awkward situation, to say the least. Felix's brain was barely functioning and Jisung was smiling at how red his face was and how his eyes kept drifting towards his toned stomach.

If Felix hadn't been crying minutes prior to this situation Jisung would have definitely called him out for starring.

"You okay?" Jisung questioned, tilting Felix's chin to look back up at him as Felix's face became even redder if that was even possible.

"Yup," Felix said, internally panicking from being this close to his crush.

"May I walk you home since you walked me home last time?" Jisung questioned, not moving away from his current position inches away from the other's face. He was close enough to count all of the pretty dots on his face...also close enough to kiss him but luckily he hadn't processed that thought...yet.

"Chan is my neighbor...and I don't really wanna go home yet."

"We could go to my aunt's cafe if you want to. There's probably some kids from our school there but we could sneak up to the roof and get some free coffees."

"Okay." Felix agreed with a small smile that caused Jisung to glance down at his lips.

That was the moment that Jisung processed he was close enough to kiss him.

Luckily Felix moved away before he could. It most definitely wasn't the best timing for that. Jisung still didn't know a lot of things about Felix, including his sexuality. He could assume from some things they had previously talked about but he didn't want to apply stereotypes. Felix could have an interest in makeup without being attracted to men.

He could ask Felix but there was no need to yet. They could take things as slowly as they wanted to. Especially with the stress of Chan's existence for both of them, there was no need to rush anything.

Felix stood up and held his hand out for Jisung to grab. He gladly took it and smiled softly when Felix seemed to tighten his grip once he stood up instead of letting go.

"Is this...a date?" Felix asked, catching Jisung completely off guard.

"Only if you want it to be." Jisung awkwardly laughed. "It doesn't have to be considered anything you don't want it to be."

"Do you want it to be?"

"I wouldn't be opposed to it being one."

"Then...let's consider this a date Jisung."
