"Do you like it? Can I do it sometime too? It would be fun." She smiled.

"You would want to?"

"Yeah...?"

"You could but at your house. Chan would kill me if he saw me wearing it."

"Chan's kinda annoying." She rolled her eyes, "if you like it then you should wear it."

"It was just for fun. I wouldn't want to wear it to school or anything." Felix lied.

"You look cute." She complimented and pulled Felix's hand to sit next to her on her bed.

They both studied together for a while but Aera could tell that something was definitely bothering Felix. The most obvious factor being that he had checked his pulse multiple times in the past half an hour and he was a little shaky.

"Felix," she sighed, pushing her textbook to the side and grabbing one of his hands to hold in her own. "Seriously, what's been bothering you so much lately? I'm worried about you."

"You won't tell Chan about the makeup right?"

"Why would I?"

"I don't know but I don't want him to hate me."

"I don't think it's possible for Chan to hate you," she explained, "I think Chan cares more about you than anything else."

"I think I could most definitely make him hate me." He mumbled.

"Is that why you've been acting so weird lately? Is something going on with Chan?"

"No, it's nothing. I've just been really stressed because of school."

"Everything will be fine," she reassured and leaned in for a quick kiss, "I love you."

Felix looked back at her with guilty eyes. It really wasn't fair for him to continue being with her while becoming closer to Jisung. He doubted that anything would ever happen between him and Jisung but Aera didn't deserve it either way. Felix didn't feel the same way.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked with a frown.

"Can I tell you something? You might hate me but I-"

"I could never hate you. What is it?" She cut him off from whatever kind of rampage he was about to go on.

"I...think we should break up."

"Why?" Aera questioned.

"I think I'm starting to like someone else and I know nothing will ever happen with it but it's unfair for me to not tell you about it," Felix explained, his voice breaking as he did so and he felt tears fall from his eyes. "I'm sorry."

"Stop it I'm gonna start crying," she mumbled and loosely hugged Felix. "It's okay. It's not your fault that you don't feel the same way."

"You don't hate me?" Felix asked, crying even more onto the girl's shoulder.

"Of course not."

"Can we still be friends?" Felix asked hopefully.

"I wasn't going to let us not be dummy." She laughed a bit despite the fact that there were still tears falling from her eyes.

"I'm sorry," Felix repeated again.

"It's fine Felix, I promise. I kinda had the feeling that you didn't feel the same way." She sniffled and pulled away from the hug.

"You did?"

"Yeah, I thought I was being paranoid but I could tell that something was off." She explained, wiping her eyes. "Well, who's the lucky girl that you think you have no chance with?" she asked with a sad laugh.

"Would you be grossed out if it wasn't a girl?" Felix asked quietly and Aera looked at him with wide eyes.

"Not at all." She shook her head and looked at him sadly. All the things he said about being worried that Chan would hate him made even more sense now.

"You know the boy that Chan's been beating up after school for the past month?"

"Jisung?" She asked, remembering his name from hearing around school and probably once or twice from Chan as well.

"Yeah." Felix sniffled, "I like him a lot."

"Well, he's really lucky." she corrected herself with another small sniffle. "Thank you for telling me."

"Thank you for not hating me." Felix sighed. Despite the horrible feeling of guilt he had for breaking up with Aera, he also felt relieved that he had finally told someone.

"I should probably go home now...can I still do your makeup sometime?"

"Yeah," Felix said with a small smile.

"You don't have to tell Chan that we broke up if you don't want to. I know you're probably scared to bring it up to him but I still don't think he could ever hate you." She explained and gave Felix one more hug before leaving.

Felix sighed as he fell back onto his bed.

Now what? he wondered as he looked up at his ceiling.
