Part 9: Prachi Oberoi

It was Aryan who was shell shocked seeing the scene.
Aryan quickly closed the door while Pranbir were confused.
Aryan thought about what he saw when he felt someone tap on his shoulders.
Rhea:"what happened? Why are you so shocked and why did you close it instead of entering?"

Aryan:"kiss...."
Rhea:"kiss? What kiss?"
Aryan, chuckled awkwardly:"no kiss, meeting... Ranbir is in a meeting. So go to your place. Come later. He will be angry that i came like that and disturbed him.
You won't like him getting angry on you so you go."
Rhea nodded and left while Aryan sighed.

The door opened behind him.
Ranbir dragged him inside.
Ranbir:"what's wrong with you?"

He turned to Prachi.
Aryan:"hi..."
Prachi:"hey."
He turned back to Ranbir and signed him who is she.
Prachi was amused by them.

Ranbir:"i thought to tell you as your wedding gift. But she came beforehand."
Ranbir brought them face to face and introduced them.
Ranbir:"he is Aryan, my best friend, my brother. And she is Prachi..."
They shook hands.
Aryan:"and..."

Prachi:"Prachi Oberoi, Ranbir's girlfriend."
Aryan's eyes grew bigger and he looked at Ranbir. Then at Prachi and then back at Ranbir.

Aryan, in disbelief:"Girlfriend?"
Ranbir nodded yes.
Aryan, to Ranbir:"how? When?"

Aryan, to Prachi:"nice to meet you."
Aryan, to Ranbir:"you made yourself a girlfriend and didn't tell me. How could you?"
Aryan, to Prachi:"please, don't mind. He deserves tihis."
Prachi nodded yes while chuckling.

Aryan took a pillow from the couch.
Aryan:"you didn't tell me? You hid such a big thing from me."
Ranbir:"sorry. I wanted to tell you face to face. And from one year."
Aryan:"weren't we face to face these 5 days? Wait.... One year? One fucking year... we talked everyday."

He threw the pillow at him. Ranbir dodged it.
Ranbir:"bro, i didn't get the opportunity."

He threw a second pillow. Ranbir caught it this time.
Prachi, laughing:"time out, time out. You are fighting like kids."

Aryan:"then, i have a plan. We will introduce her as Shahana's friend, what say?"
Pranbir at the same time: P:"Wonderful" R:"no way."

They started at each other. Aryan noticed their eyelock and smiled.
Aryan:"even if Ranbir doesn't bring you, i will come to pick you up."
Prachi smilingly thanked him.

Ranbir:"ok.... I will bring her as Shahana's friend."
Prachi:"thank you, thank you."
Aryan:"where is she staying?"
Prachi:"hotel."

Aryan;"for all this time?"
Pranbir exchanged looks.

Aryan:"i will talk to Shahana, maybe she can stay in Mehra's house next to us."
Ranbir:"i don't know, bro."
Prachi:"yeah, and i don't have any problem with hotel."
Aryan:"i will see something. Anyway, bro, take a day off, go with her."
Prachi:"no, no. He will fall sick if he doesn't work for a day."
Aryan and Prachi laughed at him.
Aryan:"you are right."

Ranbir:"very funny."

Ranbir:"should i drop you to the hotel?"

He also took his seat.

Ranbir:"you came prepared."
Prachi:"obviously."
Prachi went on studying while Ranbir carried out his work.
