Chapter Fifteen: Things Change

Chapter Fifteen:

"Things Change"

WO Ni's POV

Right after seeing Bee Na and Natasha kiss after the performance, I ran back home, leaving a note that I was going on a business trip and would be back in two days. I lied. I didn't know her to face her. How to look into her eyes as she become Bee Na's woman.

My heart broke into many pieces. At that time, I realized that she was going to be with Bee Na but I wasn't going to left him take advantage of her just as he did to me. He was once my best friend but when he betrayed me, he completely change. I have hated him ever since.

I drank a lot of soju (popular Korean alcohol) at an ajumeoni's road side restaurant. I also paid her to accommodate me for a while. After going through the heart break, I decided to stay by Natasha's side and get her to love me. When I got home, she wasn't there. It got really late and I got really scared. I called her but she didn't answer.

I waited a while and noticed a car drive in. I watched carefully from a window. To my surprise, it was Bee Na. As I tried to figure out why he was at my house, I watched him as he carried Natasha from the passenger's seat. She seemed to be fast asleep.

I waited for him to approach the door, then I opened it. I told him to hand Natasha over to me and leave. He did just so. I carried Natasha to her room, dropped her on her bed and covered her with her blanket.

"Anyone but Bee Na" I said as I kept her hair behind her ears.

I stayed a while and just stared at her. Her dark skin, her pink lips, her perfect hair and how beautiful she was. I decided to let her rest and discourage the idea of Bee Na the next morning. I got up from her bed, turned off the lights and kissed her forehead

In the morning, my mum came over with Bae Sin. She complained that Son Jin left for her per-time job and wanted to take a day's vacation. She insisted I watch over Bae Sin until she gets back. I decided to make breakfast for him and Natasha.

Natasha's POV

Waking up to see Bae Sin staring at me without smiling was a big scare. I quickly realized I was at Wo Ni's house and I had to discuss with him. I grabbed my purse and gave Bae Sin one of the bracelet I bought when Wo Ni took us shopping. It said 'Best Friend' He took it but didn't say anything. I quickly went down to see Wo Ni. I search the whole house but found him in the kitchen making breakfast.

"Ah! You're back. Good Morning Oppa!" I said with a big grin

"Good morning Natasha. Yeah! Business didn't go so well" he replied, still trying to prepare pancakes

"Please call me Na Tah Shay. Tah Shay for short." I smiled and continued "Wo Ni, I have something important to tell you"

"What  is it?"

I told Wo Ni everything and he wasn't pleased. He tried to discourage me but I had already made up my mind and was determined to make Hyun Nam De like me as her daughter-in-law. After much persuasion, he agreed but under the condition that he moves in with them as well. I wasn't sure if Hyun Nam De wanted that but I agreed to it.

After dressing up, I grabbed my bags and Wo Ni drove us to Bee Na's house. Bae Sin came along but stayed in the car, when we got there. We met Na Kim outside the house stretching. He had the idea of keeping a perfect body which was cute. I asked about Bee Na and Na Kim didn't understand cause he didn't understand English.

He asked for my phone through Wo Ni and I gave it to him. He downloaded an app;ication that will enable us communicate, irrespective of our languages. He immediately sent a text saying 'This is how we will communicate from now on okay?' I nodded in agreement. While we were getting comfortable, Hyun Nam De came out and I tried greeting her in Korean.

"안녕하세요 어머니 " {Hello mother} I said

She came closer to me, stood for a while, then slapped me.

Wo Ni's POV

My eyes widened. I wasn't comfortable with the idea of Tah Shay staying with Hyun Nam De but I wasn't going to let her hit Tah Shay. She yelled at Tah Shay in English never to call her mother. She threw a maid's outfit at Tah Shay and ordered her to put it on. Afterwards, she threw a list at Tah Shay. A list of chores she had to do.

"그녀는 가정부 아니다 " {She's not your maid} I couldn't help but yell back at Hyun Nam De

" 이봐! 당신은 죽고 싶어합니까" {Hey! Do you want to die?} she said

"나는 나타샤가 당신과 함께 머물게하지만 나는 그녀가 당신의 하녀 못하게 " {I will let Natasha stay with you but I won't let her be your maid} I continued

"Stay out of it Wo Ni Oppa" Tah Shay said as she grabbed the maid's outfit and the list.

Bae Sin's POV (Wo Ni's younger brother)

I watched from the car as Natasha got slapped in the face by the ajumeoni. I didn't talk to Natasha at that time, but I liked her. She was always so cheerful and tried to communicate with me, even when I never responded. She seemed to be in a lot of pain. I looked at the bracelet she gave me and decided to be her friend. I got down from the car.

While waling over, the ajumeoni left. Natasha kept her head down but I could tell she was crying. She walked inside the house, Wo Ni and Na Kim ran after her. I decided to go back in the car. Regardless, I was still worried about her.

Natasha's POV

I did not see that coming. My eyes saddened but I didn't want them to notice and worry about me. I found an empty room and decided to change in it. Na Kim sent a text asking if I was okay.

Text POV

Me: Yes! Please, don't tell Bee Na about what happened today, he might freak out. Promise?

Na Kim: Promise! As long as you're okay. Please come out now.

Me: Haha! I'm fine. Don't criticize my outfit either.

I didn't really like the way I was treated but I wanted to do it for Bee Na. I was determined to make Hyun Nam De like me. After changing into the maid's outfit, I walked out like a model. Happy and cheerful. Wo Ni and Na Kim smiled and gave me thumbs up.
