Impossible Was A Word

Impossible was a word

I shared with you

When the ground was white

And the sky was midnight blue

Wonderstruck was the way I felt

Hypnotized and taken captive

Bound by only miles of distance

Riding on my ulterior motive

You see, I am in no need of friends

I am in search of love, no less

The joy and the heartbreak,

I can one day reminisce

But you drift away, on your wooden raft

Leaving me empty, without even a laugh

I watched as you went, Miserable At Best

Because you failed the only important test

But impossible was a word

I shared with you

We said we could break it

But it's tested and true.....
