Tangled Strings (sequel to Red Strings)

Chapter 45

I groan in response, and shut the line.  I felt like getting changed, but I knew Calum had seen me at my worse, and this couldn't be too bad.  But as soon as I thought of any of that I felt my eyes drooping, as I rolled on my side and fell asleep

"Natalie...." I hear a voice whisper.  I mumble something along the lines of go away, before the faint smell of deep fried potatoes wafts up my nose.  "I brought you Maccas." the voice whispers again and I open my eyes immediately rolling over to see that it's Calum standing in front of me, a greasy bag of Macca's in his hand.  

"Holy shit you are a hero." I croak out as I sit up, grabbing the bag before the smell of hashbrowns and egg McMuffin overpowering but absolutely heavenly.  "Don't eat it too fast." he warns but I don't listen to him, as I take out the hashbrown before taking a quick bite.  Oh how I missed greasy hot food.

"Wait how did you get in?" I ask, as I see he's also brought some apple juice.  "Your dad let me in." he said shrugging.  Thank God Dad was a lot better about Calum then mom.  I assumed my mom had gone shopping.  I continue chewing before I then say "Can you cuddle with me?" I give Calum the best pout I can and he chuckles a little as I throw the bag onto my bedside table and I let Calum slide in beside me.

"The only reason I wish we were in LA is so we could just cuddle and fuck without a care in the world." I say, and Calum keeps his arms wrapped tightly around me, his arms warm against my bare skin.  "We could always go to my place.  Trust me my parents would most likely be out and plus my sister would go and occupy herself with her friends and we'd have it alllll to ourselves." Calum says, beginning to plant kisses, slowly teasing me.

I sigh in response thinking about it.  Truth was it did sound quite nice.  "It does sound tempting..." I respond as Calum presses himself harder against my ass and I smirk to myself as Calum moans a little against my neck, before whispering "Do not make me fuck you here." "Well maybe you should've considered what you were doing before this." I reply as he nips at my shoulder, sucking on a spot knowing that it's gonna leave a mark.  

"I better be able to cover that hickey up Hood." I warn as Calum's fingers gently trace up my bare legs and I turn over, facing him.  He presses his forehead against mine, closing his eyes before  sighing deeply and saying "God, I love you so much."  I push back some of his hair before I then say "I still don't know what to get you for Christmas." 

Calum opens his eyes and he then says "Don't bother Natalie." "Noooo Cal!" I say pouting.  "C'mon at least give me a couple ideas of what I COULD get you!" "I'll only tell you if my princess tells me what she wants first." Calum says and I roll my eyes and say "Fine. But you better keep your end of the promise!" 

Calum smiles holding out his pinky and we pinky swear on it.  "So what could I get you for Christmas?" Calum asks and I ponder about it.  "A gigantic teddy bear would be perfect.  That way I could cuddle it when you're away." I say and Calum nods, letting me continue.  "As cliche as it sounds I wouldn't mind a Victoria's Secret set...." I say, slightly embarassed. "Don't worry I was probably going to get you one anyways." Calum says as he tucks a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Anything else?  There's gotta be more." he says and I think again.  "Well....I've always seen the Pandora bracelets and they look gorgeous....but it's too much, I mean some of the charms are hundreds of dollars...." "Sweetheart I'm spending MY money on YOU.  And I don't think I'd regret spending a single dime on you." Calum reassures me.

I then hear the door slam and I hear my mom's voice yell "Rob I'm home!"  Calum and I freeze and I then whisper "Shit!"  I immediately get out of the bed, stumbling over to my closet as I try to find something to wear.  Shorts, check.  Now a shirt....
